First Hotel Lindö Park

We needed to book a hotel for one night, not far from Åkersberga. We finally did select First Hotel Lindö. It has proven to be an excellent choice. Already when we arrived at the reception desk I got a feeling that this going to be a pleasant stay, despite the winter season, very few guests at this tune of the year (which is perfectly fine for us). As we arrived two other ladies were checking in. The employee at the reception desk introduced himself, Ramus. He gave the ladies a very warm welcome and guided them to the path leading to their room. Then he came back and took excellent care of us. Given the fact it's low season, RASMUS is also the waiter at the restaurant, and the barman, and I am glad he is, because the service he provides is 10/10. Rasmus is the primary reason for us to come back and spend a 2nd night at this Hotel. As I'm writing this review, it' s our 2nd evening, as pleasant as the first one. Besides wonderful service, this hotel proved to be an excellent choice. The rooms are unusually spacious, for being Sweden. It's very clean everywhere. It's very quiet, which helps for a good night sleep. We enjoyed our diner today and yesterday (only one main course is being served though). The bed is good, the pillows are not good enough. Parking is right outside and at no charge. My IPA beer was excellent. Breakfast is OK, but with limited choice. Tea was excellent! Most likely we'll spend a 3rd night, if Rasmus is here tomorrow as well :-) PS: The Deluxe room is highly recommended. It's also equipped with a very nice bathtub. The standard room is a good option as well. All in all excellent value!!!
