STF Umeå Vandrarhem

Hostel was in great spot, next to the main street of Umea center. The prices are very affordable! There were light blocking curtains in our room. Beds were ok. Rooms were very clean! The floors were completely dirtless and dustless, which is not always the case in hostels. They require guests to clean after themselves but it was a bit unclear how much and what you should clean after staying in a dorm. I slept in a 6 bed female dorm, which even had an own bathroom. There were enough individual showers in the hallway, so I never had to wait for my turn. There's a tiny kitchen with fridge and freezer with basic utensils, where I was able to store my foods and cook. Breakfast is also served, but it is not included in the price. The only bad thing I have to say about the hostel is that they didn't inform me about the details when I registered. I had to search the kitchen myself and I didn't know the laundry possibilities and the doorcode system. They only gave me an info paper in Swedish.
