The Room was pleasant and comfortable. well maintained bathrooms with a good condition including hot water. convenience distance from the town and calm and peaceful place. 

Can be recommend for a stay.

Comfortable Accommodation behind the Victoria park in Nuwaraeliya Town

Overall room experience was good.... location was fabulous... view was superb. But only thing they lack is they dont have good restaurant to have good food... I recommend this hotel for fam with kids as it is on walkable distance from market... but very nice and silent place

Budget hotel with no food facility

New Tour Inn 

As with so many places, which we have visited, the staff at the New Tour Inn are friendly and helpful. This, in itself, makes it difficult to be critical.
However, while the newly refurbished room is adequate, small details such as a missing side table on one side of the bed, or the bathroom floor lacking a bath mat - which matters as the linoleum floor is very cold - would cost little to make a real difference. In addition, at least on the top floor, the water supply was very erratic both in terms of flow and temperature.
We also had the misfortune of being in Nuwara Eliya in mid-summer when it was bitterly cold and wet. The lounges, such as they are, are not heated and neither are the bedrooms, though you can rent  an old heater for SLR 800 a day. Rain and wind whipped the roof, while eucalyptus branches swept and thumped on the corrugated iron. Great if you enjoy the sense of an eyrie surviving against the forces of nature.
There is a small quaint dining room with an old fashioned gramophone and beautiful teak furniture, unexpected reminders of Nuwara Eliya’s colonial past. The food, however, has to be ordered in advance and then carried up a flight of stairs, and despite attempts to warm it in the microwave, is never hot enough.
On one occasion, the cooks were ill, so the food had to come from another hotel. My sweet and sour (a silly choice) was quite the worst dish I have ever (not) eaten in my life. The shrimps were battered,  but the batter was so thick and cold, it could be peeled away like elastoplast; the rice was was cold; the sweet was tinned pineapple, the sour tomato sauce!
In short, the hotel is not as comfortable as its advert suggests, and this is not fair on its young staff who have to manage the service and the complaints.

Eucalyptus through the window

No complaints about this small but pleasant hotel. Possible more of a guest house than a hotel, it is a small place located in a quiet area - but within walking distance of the town centre.
Rooms are small and basic, but clean and comfortable. They still use those old round hole electric sockets, but the hotel was able to lend us an adaptor - for the charging of various phones, tablets, cameras etc. (a vital necessity these days).
We had a pleasant but basic breakfast in the morning, but were charged an extra $10 for this - all other hotels where we stayed in Sri Lanka had breakfast included in the price.
All in all, not the worst place we've been - but only suitable for one night, really

Pleasant and comfortable for one night

This guest house overlooks the park and my room had a good view over the trees. It's fairly quiet - not much noise from the road in front. Breakfast was adequate, the coffee was better than in most similar places and there was the usual omelette, white toast and some fruit.
My stay was marred by a noisy family talking in the hallway until late... Maybe I should have said something. Maybe the management should have.

Pleasant, near town centre

I stayed here for a one night. The hotel is very close to city center and just couple of mins walk from Bus Station. The staff is very helpful. The rooms are clean and relatively new interior in rooms. I got the room next to reception so one can hear everything when reception hours are on. But since i came back late at night to my room. That wasn't an issue for me but be mindful if you get the room next to reception. I booked it after walking to the property and after negotiating got the rate half of what was quoted online (but without breakfast). So like everywhere in SL, it is good approach to go to property and negotiate as it might ease the cost. Overall enjoyable experience. 

P.S: while i was coming late at night from the park side, it was deserted and pitch black. Avoid that way at night and try to approach the hotel from the side of city center if you are walking.

Great Location and Clean

We planned on staying at this hotel for the night, as we were in nuwar elya for one day. We had planned to go and see one of the tea plantations, and it's factory. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was reasonable value for money. It was not a spotless room, but was not extremely clean either. It was also close to a local area with shops.

Not luxurious,  but well kept and gives the feeling of a family guest house.  We liked the atmosphere.   Dinner in Restaurant not too good though.
