Used to live this place, was home away from home but now slowly getting neglected and standards have dropped. The food prepared is still good but we see a general lack of cleanliness and service and also the urge to serve and treat you well is lacking. Lots of broken amnesties for example the air conditioner was blowing just air and was told the gas has leaked, no generator for the power cut, was told the starter is not working etc etc

Great location to go to the park

Stayed with family and friends for two nights. Apart from visiting Yala, visited Kataragama since it was only a 40 minutes drive. Also a very short drive to Kirinda beach too.

Staff were very helpful and special thanks to Sumedha for looking after everything.

Short 2-Day Stay in February 2022

Beautiful place perfect for chilling with friends and doing safaris. Staff is really kind and helpful and most importantly food was amazing. Having a pool in yala really helps with the heat as well. 

It was a very nice experience to start our honeymoon with friends in yala. Thank you for making it so special.

Get wild in yala starts at yala villa

The place was very calm and relax. Staff also very helpful and friendly. Villa was consist with a outdoor pool,big garden,air conditioned rooms. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location of the villa was very convenient and easy for go to kirinda beach and safari. Food was really delicious. They arranged us a garden BBQ also. We can recommend this place to anyone and thanks for excellent work for Mr.Praveen,Sumedha and caretaker 🤗

Beautiful place to stay relax 🤗

We spent three nights at Yala villa and I must say that everything was excellent. Location of the villa is very convenient for a safari or beach or anything you desire. (Safari jeep drivers pick you at the villa) The rooms are clean and comfortable. The thing we liked most in this villa as a group of friends, we liked the sleeping arrangements in the dorm like room, it was so fun for us. The pool is clean and a great place to chill after a safari. The staff is very friendly and attentive to every need. The best thing about the villa is food. The food is soo good. They even arranged lunch packets for us to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Value for Money!

Cozy place with a nice pool and air conditioned rooms. The dormitory had wood partitions and each cubicle almost felt like a private room, which is great! The aspect enjoyed by all our friends was the service from the amazing 2 staff persons. They were always there to assist you and fulfilled all our expectation without any hesitation. It’s definitely the staff that sets the property apart from the rest.

Excellent stay! Hotel staff Sumedha and Neil made sure everything was run smoothly and went out of their way to help our needs. Would recommend this place to anyone. Rooms, place, pool and all common areas well maintainted. Very closeby to the park entrance as well.

Excellent stay! Exceptional Service!

Absolutely an eye candy atmosphere. From the entrance to every corner,  architecture made it so beautiful for the interior. Such cool and calm environment, will surely makes your stay a peaceful one. Can't ask for any better than this in Yala villa. It made our stay a memorable one.
Mr.Praveen coordinated from the day one till we leave and even thereafter. The caretaker and the cook was so good human being. The food was so amazing and on point. Variety of food meals and flavors was so delicious.
They arranged a jeep for the doorstep, for us to visit Yala-safari whch is very near by to the villa. Must visit place for Kirinda temple as it's very near from the villa too.
Can't forget the pool as it gave another level of experience. Clean and very neat rooms and all other amenities.
Had so much fun and a relax stay and will surely come for another stay.

A villa like no other

This is not our first visit here. As always the staff is very flexible and friendly. The housekeepers, Sumedha and Supun are really nice and went out of their way to make sure we had what we liked and we were comfortable. 

Yala Villa is a lovely property, built to open plan and very airy. Well furnished and very comfortable. They have a very comfortable room with an attached toilet and an air-conditioned dorm with 8 beds. There is another toilet and shower as well. There is two more glamping tents with beds, but n AC). 

Our food requirements basic Sri Lankan but was excellent! 

It’s 10km from the Yala National park gate, a 20-minute drive. We managed to be within the first 10 vehicles that entered the park, so that’s not bad. 

Although we planned to be in Yala fr four days, our booking couldn’t be handled as the planned host had an issue with the premises after the bout of bad weather. For our luck, Yala Villa was available and Praveen happily arranged our stay. 

I can’t recommend Yala villa strongly enough.
