The pool in the main photo is the main humor. You have to see what it is actually. The result is a building where the first floor is a restaurant, the second building, the third room. The exterior is very shallow, but the numbers are better. The cosmetics are made, you can live. The main plus of the restaurant is its place.

It's all about the location.

The hotel is located a few minutes from the railway station. You can walk to it. The view from the room on the mountains and with constant fogs is beautiful. The settlement itself (the language does not turn around to say: devrovna) is not very large, but is full of a variety of cafes and restaurants. The beds are convenient, the room is clean, the shower room has no surprises. On the ground floor there is a swimming pool with fish and a common balcony with chairs and a table.

It's worth the price.

As for us as a family with a baby, we loved the place, very near to the train station, on the main road. Clean and Spacious rooms. Very kind and friendly staff. Delicious Breakfast. Breathtaking view on the mountains and greenery. 
The only issues we faced, there are no kettles in the rooms, and no phones to order, you need to do go yourself down to the restaurant and get it. Also, lots of stairs to climb, but we survived! In general we loved it!

Value For Money

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel is dirty, the mosquito nets do not protect properly. The staff asked to pay the night before leaving, just before a group of people arranged a party in the room next by that lasted all night

Don't go if you are planning to sleep

It’s located on the main street. Might be a bit noisy in the evening but the streets are dead after 11PM. Room was good size, and it had everything what we needed for one-night stay. It was nice and basic. And it’s the first place in Sri Lanka where I could enjoy real hot water… although by that time I got used to slightly warm water, so it didn’t really matter to me anymore.
Staff was friendly and helpful.

After a small bargain to satisfy both parties, they booked nothing in advance, although the approximate list of hotels was made in advance. The hotel in the off-season was completely empty. The hotel was managed by only one responsive young man, performing various functions. On arrival we were told the price was slightly higher than in Buckingham (although there was also a very low price). After a small bargain to satisfy both parties, the price came at a much lower price than on the booking site.

An empty hotel in a good place.

It's on the main street, it looks good, I can't say anything better. The sheet was dirty, the fan wasn't working, the kettle and the fridge weren't there, and most importantly, there was no soundproofing, you could hear everything that was happening on the street and in the living room.

There's nothing better than being in the mood.

The hotel is very good, it is conveniently located on the central street, and it is not a problem for you to sleep at night. We lived on the third floor, no noise from the street was heard. The room is small, but cozy, there is everything you need, mainly a large comfortable bed, a comfortable small bathroom with shower and toilet. Clean, tidy, comfortable. Breakfast is included. Breakfast can be taken at a restaurant-bar, which is five steps away from the hotel.

A great hotel at an attractive price.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right at the beginning of Ella's main street. The rooms are nothing special but the room is clean...the sheets, however, in my opinion, were a bit dated, they had yellow gorges. For the price and the location is fine, but I recommend spending one or two nights there. The power is often missing and the Wi-Fi does not work very well.
