Hotel Sun Galicia

We stayed here for 9 nights with our children aged 8, 4 and 1. The pools were perfect for them. The place is lovely - really friendly, and with a great play area. We were a bit squished in a one-bedroom apartment but I think they do do bigger ones. Play area is lovely. We did it without a car - armed with the address and phone number, we just picked up a taxi at the airport. 75 euros each way but worth it for door-to-door service - although as five people we needed two taxis (on the return leg we went all in one). We walked and took buses the rest of the time. We even walked to the beautiful beach in Sanxenxo - took a good 30 to 40 minutes but was doable, even with small children. We caught a local bus from the road outside the hotel to O Grove, which was lovely too. There are several very Spanish restaurants within 10 or 15 minutes walk of the hotel. We didn't see a single other English person while we were there - very refreshing! We could have done with fruit at breakfast, but that would be the only complaint! The staff were lovely and very helpful. The hotel is nice and small - set out in a small square.
