Hotel clean and well kept, rooms are large with nice sized balconies, bathroom does what it needs to but we had a few issues with the toilet flushing and the shower being chilly but all sorted themselves out. Housekeeping timing is irregular. 

Pool is very cold and salty but there’s a poolside bar and lots of loungers as well as an inside bit with comfortable seating 

Food was at best questionable Saturday was rabbit and went back in as full as it came out, calamari at every meal in different forms but lots of fresh salad and fruit and pasta dish offered every meal! Breakfast was the worst choice, coco pops, cornflakes or sugar puffs, diy toast with a toaster that probably has given up being a toaster now, boiled eggs, fried egg, bacon, beans and German sausages that have dried out on the side that’s not submerged in brine, but great selection of yogurt, fresh and tinned fruit and ham and cheese. The salvation was that there’s a chef at dinner cooking meat fresh where you can see it. 

Drinks are as expected at all inclusive and then cocktails are lovely! Real San Miguel but you can only have 2 at a time and it’s third pint plastic cups. 

Very accommodating at reception if you need extra towels or early breakfast on departure date

Exactly as expected for 3 star hotel

Had a great stay food wasn’t 100% but had worse main problem nothing went with what was there If your a fussy eater don’t bother bar service was ok (could be slow) queing what else you expect in budget hotel we didn’t stay in main hotel stayed in sister hotel room was huge and clean towels daily bedding not so often 
Let downs beds around the pool there wasn’t enough and ppl would leave towels early then not even use the bed there is a massive area at back of hotel we stayed could be nice get it paved and more beds not everyone wants the pool 
Over all a nice stay and would return 

Ignore all bad reviews 

I don’t even know where to start with this review, but I’ll try keep it simple and to the point! 

We got this as a package holiday from a Wowcher deal! Thank God the location itself was pleasant, as we spent every waking hour in the town!! 

First glance - Not bad! Run down, but friendly staff! 

Then we were shown to our room.... Well we opened the door, stepped inside and came straight back down - The room was what I can only describe as a ‘hot box for smokers’ ... The room was filled with smoke and Stank! (We aren’t smokers, so this wasn’t pleasant at all) 

Our second room smelt much better, However we had to give up the sea view room we paid for - As I refused to stay in what was apparently the only one available! (Smoke central) 

The room are grimy... Dirt in all corners, Dust and majority of the furniture/furnishings we broken! 

The bathroom was horrid, stains on the sinks and dare I go on! No towel rails, so our ‘clean’ towels were left on the toilet seat or floor! 
After a day or so of using the facilities - the drains began to small like ‘rotten cabbages’ ... This was delightful whilst tying to sleep! 

We walked into the restaurant, and walked back out - that is the only comment I can make on the food! 
Basic, which is expected! But not appealing, nor even smelt nice. Again not an overly clean area! 

The smell that surrounded the poolside and outdoor areas - was very similar to the rotten cabbage smell that came from the drains indoors! 

The noise level at 12am was ridiculous! That’s not counting the 3am and 5am wake up’s we got from our drunken neighbours, singing, arguing or crying at early hours!!  

So unless your into all that ‘chav-tastic all inclusive’ vibe - I wouldn’t stay!! 🙂

Wouldn’t Recommend to and enemy!

Was very worried after reading reviews we were pleasantly surprised hotel is clean and friendly lovely place to stay ...We did not have a very good view but was not over looked was nice and peaceful no noise at all ...food was as you would expect for a 2/3 star both hotels 1 & 11 share everything bars dining and pool entertainment was on most nights was lovely sat out chatting to different people ...nice walk down the hill to Porto Cristo lovely harbour nice place we came back up in a taxi was less than the bus under €3 for both of us bus outside hotel would we go again yes we would and we never had any bother with any staff found everyone friendly loved it

Much better than reviews say

Just returned from a week in this cosy hotel with my sister, must say we were pleasantly surprised after reading all the negative reviews, the hotel is clean food average what you would expect for a three star hotel our room was lovely very spacious, we found the staff very friendly and always polite.. a big plus was the other guests who always stopped and chatted , reception staff were always helpful when we asked questions they gave us good advice and one even sorted out our transfer to the airport. Would stay here again .. ignore all the bad reviews they could not have been staying in this hotel ..

Friendly hotel

We booked 2 double rooms in the Porto Playa 1 next door; we were instead placed in the Porto playa 2 apartments next door.
These apartments are very grotty and need refurbishing. Safety concerns included open electrical sockets with wires hanging out and doors and windows that do not close properly ( not ideal when the balcony leads directly into a poorly lit car park).

Very disappointing 

Just stayed at this hotel leave in morning thank god it's should be a 0 star nothing was good rooms were dirty food very poor nt much choice was all included you hd only 1 choice of lager foul hd to pay fr bottled beer n bottled water as well my room was leaking all over off heavy rain clothes damaged table gt damaged thy said bk it there fault I went every day to complain just said nowt to do with them staff rude 1 staf was helpful but definitely a dump

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights. Really enjoyed. Food is your standard all inclusive. Great service, at the bar. I agree with a previous post about people leaving litter and used cups around the pool areas why they couldn't use the bins provided is beyond me. Staff were great. Will be coming back again

Great hotel for the money

Stayed here for 8 nights 2 adults 2 teenagers. I have to say was not hoping for much after reading reviews. But can honestly say that we enjoyed every minute, lots of plusses and some minus points. Food got better throughout the stay, beds were comfortable rooms spacious and clean, a little outdated but quaint. Pool is salt water not as good as fresh water but way better than chlorine. Staff not overly friendly just your normal everyday hard working people. Usual practise of towels first up best dressed for prime sunbeds. A few parasols not enough to go around. No matter where you sunbathe there will be respite from the sun from time to time as there is varying shade throughout the day and you can cool off in the pool. Entertainment every other day. Never waited more than 2 minutes for drinks. Never waited to long for food which was decent enough. 5minute walk to marina which was, stunning 8minutes to a beautiful beach. Drach caves just across the road. For a 3 star hotel we paid £1600 for 4 people absolute steal and worth every penny. Bad reviews may be due to paying over the odds or wanting 5 star service for 3 star money. I've marked it 3 out of 5 for for 2 reasons, there is a strong smell of sewage by pool bar from time to time but I think there may well be a problem in the whole are, as I could smell it down by marina on one occasion. Also read one review that the caves had a similar smell. 1 minus mark for the tourists who couldn't be bothered cleaning away their own rubbish. Every day at the poolside it was strewn with empty and half empty cups. Maybe they should charge for an eco cup, that would put a stop to it. We met some lovely people and there wasn't one bit of trouble. All in all 3 star hotel with 2 star prices. 

Pleasantly suprised

Booked as a last minute break , had seen the reviews but always like to make my own mind up
Clean room , sea view, towels changed daily , hotel in need of update
Pool and sunbeds good - no umbrellas
Food poor , choice poor ,long queues, dirty tablecloths not changed and staffing poor in restaurant area.
Reception staff very helpful , bar man miserable ,
Air conditioning very poor , lots of people complaining rooms were unbearable to sleep in.
Location excellent for harbour and beach
Not 3 star accommodation , more like 2 star
