Apartments Casa Lila

Easy to find with google maps, and we never had trouble parking. We had a warm welcome from Lila who offered us a complimentary bottle of water each. Her staff showed us three available rooms and we decided to upgrade for an extra 5 Euros a night as the room looked nicer, but although some rooms had wifi this one didn't. All the other guest that we talked to were happy with their accommodation. It felt safe, there were security cameras and the fire extuguiser had an up to date sticker on it. The smoke alarm looked wired in though we didn't test it. A new fridge arrived Lila seems to be acting on previous poor reviews. The new fridge was slightly noisy, so we unplugged it overnight. It was well insulated and our food stayed cool. Soap and shampoo is not provided and this is not advertised in the description, but we did get washing up liquid and an insecticide spray can. We were given spare toilet rolls as the room is not serviced again this is not advertised. Lila frequently checked we were happy with everything and we were. The location is great and quiet at night. The curtain was a bit too small for the window, but the room we had was not overlooked. The wifi was good in the reception area and satellite reception in the room was good though sometimes the time showings was an hour wrong. Mimi the cat slept with other guests and is very fussy. She accidentally got locked in a room overnight, but waited until later the morning to complain, which made us worry that something awful had happened to Lila, but we checked and found Mimi had crept in while she was showing guests a choice of rooms! There were tables to place our suitcases on.
