90 reviewsWe stayed at this Hotel over the holiday is San Mateo, when trying to book a hotel back in June this was one of the only hotels with two rooms available, we reluctantly booked as it was only two stars but what a pleasant surprise when we arrived, this lovely little establishment was all you could wish for, large bright bedroom with enormous comfortable bed, clean bathroom with plenty of piping hot water, the busy downstairs bar area serves good coffee as well as most beers spirits etc and finger food tapas and pinchos, also the staff are pleasant and helpful. This hotel is also central to shops bars and entertainment. The train and coach stations are fifteen minutes walk away, we enjoyed our weeks stay and plan to return next year.
