Fantastic
106 reviewsOur first time at this lovely little Hostal. We arrived earlier than planned as we were on a 6:30am flight out of the UK, but were able to check in straight away, which was fabulous. We were on a two week holiday. The staff who look after the front desk were all excellent, very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 120, on the first floor (to be aware, no lift) which had two single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower. The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. Cleaning is seven days a week, and the ladies work very hard to keep all areas of the hotel, as well as the rooms, spotlessly clean and smelling gorgeous. If you don't want a clean one day, just leave the do not disturb sign on the door and they leave the room alone. As others have said the shower is on the small side as ours was a corner shower and had a shower curtain instead of doors, so sometimes was like fighting with bears when it stuck to you, my much slimmer and taller husband didn't have as many problems! That said, if it had doors instead, I would have really struggled. Towels were soft and smelt wonderful, when you want a change of towels you just leave on the floor of your room and the ladies will change them. Spain is on water conservation due to their lack of rain in recent years, so most hotels and hostals now run this policy of not automatically changing towels to cut down on laundry washing. There are two sockets near the bed if you remove the plugged in lamp from the middle bedside table and scooch over the little side table next to the left hand side bed you have two areas to rest charging items on. We only used the bar once and the prices were very reasonable, there are three little tables and chairs and a further bench type seating area. If its cold or a little late, you will probably find the front door shut, but if you knock on the door, someone will let you in. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to this hostal, we both really loved our stay here and were sad to leave. We would recommend to everyone.
