Superbly built little cottage with everything you need if you are self catering. Well designed so that you can sit either outside on a balcony overlooking the mountain views or sit within a glased conservatory to get the views even if the weather turns windy.
Lovely facilities and this is the best place in masca for complete privacy and personal views of this amazing place. It is in the middle of mountains and there are a couple of cafes which close 5 or 6pm,  a church, a small bar and little souvenirs for sale. Tricky driving to as hairpin roads down the valley to this place, best to shop for provisions before leaving main motorway as it's a long way to walk to get things.
The owner of this cottage was lovely and very helpful and I would highly recommend to anyone who likes the outdoors, used to hill walking.

Incredible views from this mountain side cottage

Beautiful quiet location high above the Masca gorge with just amazing views as far as to the ocean. A fully equipped house with a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and terrace with outdoor seating, all spacious and clean. Host Pedro is very friendly and helpful. A great place to relax, hike and enjoy nature. The unusual experience is to arrive in Masca by car on a very narrow mountain road full of curves. Unfortunately, the Masca Gorge was closed for tourists at the time of our stay, but this is not related to the excellent accommodation.
