The location is within walking distance from the main shopping area Myeongdong...bit of a walk, but not too far from Chuncheon rail station...the bus station is a 5000 won cab ride away though...building is a bit old but adequate for a few nights stay...clean for love motel standards...wifi is strong and check in was efficient...bit expensive considering it's a love motel though...

Decent base for Chuncheon

A well located hotel that has seen better days. The owner was welcoming,  the room and sheets were clean and room facilities include flat TV,  fridge,  PC,  air-con,  kettle,  hairdryer etc. In general though the decor and fittings are old and tired. The bathroom is a wet room with the entire floor area being used for the shower tray. The main shower fittings don't work and seem to have been replaced by a sink connected shower fitting that works just fine. The welcome pack of toiletries includes massage oil and a condom. Apparently it's hard for young couples in Korea to have fun pre- marriage whilst living with parents and it's not untypical for hotels to cater for them. In case you are wondering, we did get a good night's sleep without disturbance!

Good base but a little shabby! 

The location of this motel is good and within few minutes walking distance to the very popular shopping street. The boss is very friendly and helpful. He would like to answer our queries about recommended restaurant and transportation to famous sightseeing. It is a worth for money motel. Will definitely stay here again in future and recommend it to my friends.

Motel with good location & worth for money

The sign at the front of the building declares that "foreigners are most welcome" and the guy at the desk did speak english.  He gave us our key and an amenities bag and sent us on our way. The corridors were gloomy and old looking and the room was very small and pokey and tired looking. It did have a big flat screen TV, computer (don't know it it worked) and aircond though. Unfortunately the controls are all in Korean so it took some time to work it all out. The bathroom is also very small and kind of mouldy looking at the edges. The shower head is positioned next to the basin and the water just floods the floor when you have a shower.
The typical hard korean bed had a slippery polyester cover, complete with cigarette burn, and it just wouldn't stay on the bed during the night.  The sheets also slid off, due to the plastic underneath.  We didn't sleep well anyway due to the banging on the floor from the room above (at all hours).  
On the plus side it had good, free wifi, parking and the location was very handy to the local shops and restaurants. The costs of this room was W70000 (well I guess it is peak season in Korea) really not good value, especially since you don't even get breakfast. Better value elsewhere.

Local Tip: Make sure you walk down to Dakgalbi street and try the local chicken speciality. Just pick any place you like the look of, they all serve the same food.

Past its Prime

Five of  us arrived Chun Cheon without any room booking on December 5, 2015.  All the motel nor hotel around train station were full, found the Tour Information counter at the station and the lady help us contact the motel lady and offer us 3 very good price and comfortable rooms.

The lady very helpful although she cannot speak English, always smile, she offer us a family room for 5 person because she wants to save our money, when we found out there were double room with very reasonable price, she was very happy to make change for us.  The rooms were clean and spacious, free WiFi provided, computer in room too, 

After settle down, she understood we want to have chicken for the dinner, she arrange a lady to bring us to the chicken street.

Actually, the motel had a man can speak English, we met him when we back to the motel after dinner, he was very kind also.
