We arrived at the guest house at  7 pm and having spent a long day on the road wanted a quick shower before heading off for dinner. Our bathroom vanity light didn't work and a 2nd led light which illuminated the shower area was faulty and  strobed intermittently. The bathroom had no window and the extractor fan did not function either. 
Neither the WiFi or the airconditioner worked. We luckily discovered that the remote control batteries needed replacing. 
Not happy.

My husband and I have just spent a night here on our way down from cape town to east London. A lovely guest house , very nicely situated- close to some very nice restaurants.
We did not have the breakfast as we had to leave early for a business meeting, however, we have stayed here before and the breakfast was delicious.
They have secure parking, good Wi-Fi and the rooms have all you need. The lounge has a TV and you can help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day. In our room we had a kettle as well- which was very convenient.
Staff friendly too.
Excellent value for money.

Stunning bed and breakfast !

We had a spacious room, the house is very spacious as well, with a huge, cosy living room. Breakfast was good, our host was kind and helpfull. Some corners and details should be repainted/fixed. It would give the house a bit more class.

Conveniently located, with secure parking, a comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast.  Also complimentary coffee and tea available at any time (and not the plastic kind).  

The wifi was also excellent (10mbps). 

What more could you ask for? Maybe a TV in the room, but actually, it was refreshing to not have one with nothing to watch anyway (which is why I don't have one at home either), and there was one in the very comfortable lounge. 

Very comfortable, great breakfast

Walmer is a great location in the city of PE. Travel time from the airport is about 10 minutes, the staff are warm and welcoming. The property is large and well maintained and the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast is really good as well as the free wifi
