Excellent stay
Owners are very friendly and helpfull with information on what to do in Port Elizabeth area.
Real English breakfast with nice fresh fruit and juice.

Stay at King George's Guest House

My daughter was admitted to hospital in Gqeberha (formerly Port Elizabeth) and we are from a different City.  I booked into the Kind George's Guest House late at night, received an immediate response, and was exhausted when I got there. I was greeted in a friendly way, shown to my room, which was perfect, no load-shedding due to back up, excellent WiFi, and extremely comfortable.  I booked in for a further night, also last minute, and I will definitely go back.  It is actually ideal for holidays, with lovely swimming pools, massive rooms (for families too), such a friendly atmosphere, just perfect.

Beautiful Elizabethan styled house. All the rooms are renovated with a special and unique touches. Rooms are comfy and spacious.  Perfect space for working and off the grid so no load shedding to interfere.

Dani and David are beyond welcoming and they make you feel like family, thank you.

Breakfast is the highlight of my day and the team never disappoints. The rooms are always clean from top to bottom, and contain everything that you may need on your trips to feel more at home.

Home Away From Home

What a nice Guesthouse, that exceeded our expectations by far. 
Very friendly owner, safe location with fenced parking. Huge, very old house with old rooms and design, has an incredible vintage feel to it and is still really comfortable. We would go there again without any hesitation. 
One of the best stays of our entire trip. 
Breakfast was also really nice and included freshly prepared full English breakfast.

This was the perfect place during a very stressful week. Friendly staff, great breakfast and spacious rooms. Would recommend this to anyone travelling for work or leisure. Will definitely return......

Comfortable stay during a long work week

Very outdated and in desperate need of a make over and/or upgrade. Only SABC channels on the Television, swimming pool needs a proper clean. Definitely not as advertised - photos taken of updated areas only......

Not as advertised and definitely not 4 star

During lockdown, my husband had to have emergency surgery at St George's. However 
we were from out of town and needed a place to stay near the hospital. I phoned King George guesthouse and they made it so easy for me to book. The owners went out of their way to help us and make us feel very comfort during a stressful time. I highly recommend this guesthouse. Comfy beds and a delicious brekkie.

Tudor style buildings. Lush green gardens and two gorgeous,  what looks like, mosaic pools. It should be great fun in summer 😁
Our room was very comfortable with pretty, English-style soft furnishings. The bathroom was clean with soft, fresh towels.  Dinner; very tasty. 
Dani is friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.... 
This stop over was a very welcome surprise and we'll definitely be back. Thanks Dani and Ivor 😁

English charm

Centally loated in PE
Easy to find in Milpark.
Secure and safe.
Plesant atmosphere and reception. Beautiful old Victorian House. Breakfasts are excellent. Friendly satff.
Reminiscant of a by-gone time of friendliness and hospitality. Highly recommend.
