It was ok. The room was comfortable and it was quite close to Hemingways as well as family homes, so we were quite central for the weekend. It's well sign posted and easy to find. We were comfortable for the 2 days, but my shower was quite old and not well lit. I would say an ideal place for a day or 2. Its a family establishment and they all pull together to make sure you have what you need. The room had a microwave, TV and AC but we. used none of it, so I can't speak to the quality.

Lovely homely place

The room did not have air conditioning, considering it was summer. The bathroom was of extremely poor quality and cheaply done. Facilities broken in the bathroom, e.g towel rack, soap dish. Attitude of management also poor.

Poor Service and value for money

This is an ideal place for an overnight stop. The rooms are really comfortable - great bed. Breakfast is basic and the plastic table cloths and hanging cutlery give it a cheap feeling. The service was excellent and the owners friendly and helpful.

Good stop over

The accommodation is very clean and neat, however things are done on the cheap.
I had one complimentary soap and shampoo for three nights and the toilet paper is only one ply. The breakfast is certainly as basic as one can get and there is no filter coffee available at all. The worst was that when there was load shedding, they have no generator and so I sat in the dark with only one candle in the room, very disappointing!

Disappointing

Marlon & Brenda are very welcoming and make one feel at home.  The room is stunning and cozy, I love it to bits. This will be my East London home going forward as am from Pretoria.  Next visit will be with my family.
