We recently stayed at HaesFarm for a two night stay during a visit to the Overberg. HaesFarm is true gem in the heart of the Overberg and well worth a two night stay. Harry and Steyn are such welcoming and gracious hosts and offer warm and sincere hospitality in their beautifully curated guest farm. You will come away feeling refreshed and energised, with fond memories of having experienced a special place in Stanford.

Amazing Stanford getaway spot

The hosts have created a unique oasis of beauty and calm. We were warmly greeted with a cold drink and fantastic views of the mountains. This eco friendly farm is not to be missed - so many small details to make your stay memorable. Breakfasts were not only delicious, but beautifully presented. If you are thinking of staying in the Hermanus area - stay here instead!

Unique Stay

We spent two nights with Harry & Steyn at their amazing spot. They are superb hosts and treated us like long lost friends. We sat on the verandah and drank wine , ate cheese and biscuits with them and chatted away watching the sun go down.
Breakfasts were sumptuous affairs with wonderful home made breads and marmalades amongst the offerings.
Our room was extremely comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and can highly recommend them to any one wanting superb acomodation in the Stanford area

HaesFarm provided what the soul truly needed. Amazing hospitality from Harry and Steyn, beautiful views, oh and a mouthwatering breakfast daily. Thank you to the hosts who made sure my stay was nothing short of amazing. the recommendations for sight seeing options didnt disappoint.  

Solo Trip

Haes Farm is absolutely amazing and the attention to detail is impeccable. Wonderful rooms with a great view over the valley. 

The hosts are very accommodating and truly go out of their way to make your stay as memorable as possible.

AMAZING..

What an exceptional experience to stay at HAES FARM. From you moment you arrive until the last minute -you feel totally comfortable, relaxed and ultimately spoiled. We've been on a road trip to a few places in Cape Town, but we have decided that this was the best of them all. The hospitality is superior! 

Exceptional

The views to the ocean, the silence and the sheer beauty of Haes Farm with its great art made my stay an experience hard to forget. The food and wine were superb. And the hosts ofcourse. Am I coming back? The answer you already read. 

Relaxing in beauty and silence

Harry and Steyn were charming hosts at this peaceful retreat offering stunning views over the quaint town of Stanford and surrounding coastline. We were treated to some wonderful cooking using locally sourced ingredients. - the 3 course breakfast will certainly set you up for the day! We would also recommend you have dinner at the farm. The two bedrooms are well appointed with large, comfortable super king beds. The indoor and outdoor communal areas are well furnished, comfortable  and spacious. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t take gorgeous Lenny the dog with us. We would highly recommend staying in this unique peaceful haven.

Tranquility

We stayed with Harry and Steyn for 3 nights in Jan 22. We did expect the beautiful nature and what the surrounding area had to offer. What we certainly did not expect was that we were literally pampered the entire time. Harry is nothing short of a Michelin level chef and the food he made for us was incredible. The setting and accommodation are fantastic too with the perfect combination of privacy, nature, views of the valley and tranquility. We would highly recommend HaesFarm to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway filled with fantastic food, great wines and nature.
