We had a lovely stay at Mestini Hill. The house is grand and old, with a lots of history attached, and an experience in itself. The outdoor area is beautiful, and if you like animals, and are traveling with kids, it's the perfect place to stop. We were welcomed by the most inclusive and engaged host. He gave us an interesting historical tour around the property, and took out the rabbits, so that the kids could cuddle. The farmer next door also guided us around the farm and we got to taste some of the eco vegetables and apricots from the garden. We would love to go back and visit this calm and beautiful Slovenian farm one day.
