Very nice hotel with unbelievable and quiet location.possibility to reserve outdoor sauna. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities (tenis, basketball, horse rides. Steaks and dumplings highly recommended !

Amazing hotel

Cozy and comfortable place, excellent hotel owners, excellent rest with Kids! 
A good restaurant, you can ride horses, there is a children's playground, cozy rooms, you can walk along the shore of the reservoir, there is parking, billiards, tennis court, football

Nice place

I visited the restaurant and was quite happy with the food I got. The chicken broth was good, albeit a tiny bit too salty for my taste, but bryndzové pirohy (pierogi filled with sheep’s cheese) were delicious, soft and rich. The bacon on the top could have been even crispier, but wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely order them again. My friend had bryndzové halušky and said there was not enough bryndza, though.

Why go to New Mexico when you can stay at Edie's? Very cosy - and cheap - great service from staff - and Slovak hostility 😄
Hike, mtb, ski, horseriding etc. - Edie's is the place. Nice rooms - Slovak mountain cuisine.

Cosy Place!

We decided for this hotel because of bright facilities and activities. We choose premium room, with a really fabulous bathroom and really big sized room. It was sparkling clean and standard met our expectation.  On the other side you have to be careful, if you want to relax and sleep well, don t choose this hotel in summer period for weekends, because there is a life music / noise is until midnight... Restaurant was really nothing special, honestly not so tasty as we developed in the Oravska priehrada surroundings, as in other restaurants. 
What I really don t understand, why they don t cover for night their outdoor swimming pool, it was really cold and dirty. Horses are just perfect as well as a nice playground for children. If you don t expect to much, you will be satisfied.
Staff was nice and polite, but they could more communicate with customers during breakfast, there was missing plates / nobody camed to ask if we have all we need.

weekend stay

The service was terrible. We had to wait long time for everything...menus, food, at the bar for the receipt. We ordered pizza, which was good. But the pizzas were brought separately. We finished one and had to wait 10 minutes for another one to arrive. Same with desserts. Plus in one of the ice cream desserts there was a piece of pepper (paprika)! That shouldn't be a part of any dessert. It was rather disappointing experience. The food wasn't worth the price

Terrible experience

Unfortunately I did not get the point of this place. Horse manure at the children playground (see photos), the whole place is a one big mess with all different stuff laying around. Maybe this is how a "ranch" is supposed to look like, however, we left as soon as we arrived.

weird place

If you do not want to kill an hour of your life waiting for a pizza, do not go there! We were swimming in the lake, next to, and we got hungry so we went there. We looked at menu (they gave us old menu, and we paid much more) and ordered pizza, chips and tatar sauce. Without explanation I paid for 2 sauce, even I ordered just 1 and like 0,8€ more for a pizzas. They gave us money for that 1 sauce back, but to communicate with the stuff was not nice. They gave us chips in a 5 minutes, one pizza in like 20 minutes and the third one was not comming. After half hour my sister asked, if the pizza was ready and they answered really really relucantly that it will be soon ready. After another half hour I went ask them, when it will be ready and they didnt know !! They were trying to hide this problem, but they forgot about us and she said to me, that it will be ready in the 5 minutes. Me and my sister were the last people there and they forgot about us. The pizza came and someone, who gave the pizza to the waitress, said :' Here is the lost pizza'. Lost ?! How can they lose a pizza ? So do not lose your time and go to find another place to eat. The worst stuff ever and never again!
