This is a really good budget option in the center of Sighet and you can walk to everything. I called last minute to get a room for one night. When I got in the following morning they let me check in immediately even though check in is normally at 3pm. Very helpful front desk staff who let me store my luggage after check out, stored my leftover pizza in the fridge, and let me hang out in the lobby to charge my phone before leaving for the train station. They have a  breakfast buffet included in the room rate. My room was small, but I booked a room for one person, I saw double rooms that were way more spacious so if I go back I will book one of those.  

Good Budget Option in Great Location

I choose this location and booked on a different site. Unfortunately the Sighet youth basket ball tournament had to be canceled, due to corona virus concerns, so we had to cancel the stay. The owner accepted my request to cancel without fee (one day stay). It was such a nice gesture. I really appreciated and thank you for your understanding. Hopefully this is not against any TripAdvisor policies... I had to write a few words. I always appreciate kindness so keep in mind what type of people are the owners when considering this hotel. Thanks again and surely we will book when the tournament will be organised again.

Kind and understanding people...

Super nice place to stay, very comfy rooms, they welcomed us with open arms. We arrived with motorcycles and they had a lockable garage waiting for us to safely park. Huge and good breakfast buffet. Minutes to walk to downtown. Awesome !

Very nice place to stay close to downtown

Motel owner was kind enough to offer me a room to check in many hours earlier before official check in time as I arrived in an overnight train (of cos, this is limited to availability), without surcharge!
All the staff were very helpful in tips and helping me with bus timings and getting taxis. I most appreciated the tip to hitch hike my way to Sapanta and Barsana - such a local experience that I’m glad that I didn’t join any day tours!
Location of Motel Buti is great, breakfast is great, grocery store just next door is great, and I love the cafe Granell just a minute walk away to hang out and have great coffee.

Excellent location, awesome hospitality

Hotel located close to the city centre. Nice and clean. Best place to visit down town. Excellent service. Even repairing the muddy Land Rover in the hotel backyard was not a problem. And we were offered all the help.

Nice and helpful owners 

The room was comfortable and the staff was very nice. I also liked the location of the hotel since it is near central Sighet. The breakfast was alright but not delicious. Overall I was very happy with the stay at the hotel. 

Nice and central hotel 

The room we received was small and dark. The furniture looked like an odd collection from a charity shop. 
A single person in our party got a tiny room with a wall right outside the window so there was no light. It looked like a prison cell. When we asked for a room without a wall against the window we were told "no, a group is arriving and they have the other rooms (with windows)". 
After 10 minutes we decided to leave and found a much nicer hotel round the corner.

Do not stay there

Delicious breakfast. Nice rooms with balcony,very quiet and clean. Easy access to the hotel, free parking.No room service and no minibar in the room. The beds are slightly inconfortable but overall we had a nice stay.

Located close to downtown on a quiet street, good mattress, quality  sleep, quiet room, have windows to the garden, helpful staff, breakfast was decent, clean rooms, safe parking in the yard, good value for money
