The location of this hotel is it's real attraction. It is within walking distance of Otopeni airport which makes it a good place to stay if you have an early morning departure. The hotel itself is just functional but it is fine . The bed was comfortable enough and  the WiFi worked fine . We ate and drank at the restaurant and bar downstairs . The service isn't great but it is all passive for 1 night. For the price we paid we will stay here again when using this airport.

Good place for early morning flight

The hotel was as hotels are: efficient, clean and somewhat comfortable. The heat was plentiful and the shower leaked. 
The main attraction for us was the indoor pool and the sauna. Wow, what a way to relax. The hotel gives each person a comfy bathrobe fro the jog to the pool building but I forgot my bath slippers ( do not worry, the reception has some for sale). The sauna was clean and hot and given that it was February the place was buzzing. I've been in hotter pools but given that the pool is included in the room price, as is breakfast, this was a great deal. 
I will certainly be back.

The indoor pool was great for a February visit

We got there in the middle of the night and the staff member there didn't speak English! We've come across this plenty of times before, but he wouldn't accept our money until we walked over to the near by gas station to get the correct change. When we got back there was a different member of staff who spoke English and showed us to the room, which was a lot nicer than we expected

Unfriendly

Casa Romaneasca is about 700 meters from the Otopeni airport. The building is situated next to the big road.

Our room included a double bed and bathroom. The place was clean with simple wooden furniture. There were also an air-conditioner in the room.

Because we had to leave to the airport before breakfast, we were given sandwiches with us.

Simple and clean

This is the worst place i ever stayed in my life. We booked for 2 nights in Bucharest because we had to register my son in the American embassy. He was 3 months old. We arrived and the room was very small and super hot. The AC didnt work properly, the room was not very clean and the bed looked like it had bedbugs! The shower doors were broken, everything was terrible nothing like the pictures. We called the operator and the security guard said everyone is gone at midnight and hes by himself. We called for someone to help us fix the AC which was blowing hot air! We ended up leaving at 3 am with our newborn baby because we couldnt take it anymore. We lost our money because we paid with credit card and their system cant refund us. It was the worst place evr and I would NEVER go back.
