Apart from beds that were a bit uncomfortable and dogs which barked all night, everything else was pretty good. The rooms are spacious enough but not soundproofed from dogs which seemed to be upset by something for most of the night! The owner is very friendly and made us feel most welcome when we arrived. We were plied with home made brandy and a pine needle cordial, which he had also made. We had not planned to visit this area but we're really pleased we had been to the monastery and stayed at this pensionne.
