The neighborhood seemed a bit dark and trashy, but it's to be expected of the cheapest hostel to be found. The staff was friendly, the rooms seemed clean, albeit small and stuffed (no problem). 

On our first night, a room mate noticed bed bugs and left in the middle of the night. We thought (or hoped) he was wrong, although we noticed them ourselves on the second night. After telling the staff, they seemed unsurprised and didn't appear to be keen on fixing the problem. (Bedbugs are already mentioned in a 2016 report here on TripAdvisor...)

You can't beat their price, so once/if they get rid of the bedbug problem, it is a good place for small-walleted travellers.

Decent hostel. 

Bükreş'in belkide en kötü mahallesindeydi. Güvenilir bir bölge değil. Odadaki çarşafların temizliğine pek güvenemedik. Mutfak kısmı belkide en mikroplu yeriydi.  Çift kişilik odada kaldık odada yarım pencere vardı ve akşamın belli saatine kadar mahalleden gelen müzik sesi ve sivrisinekler uyutmadı. 

Personeli yardımseverdi. Bagajı bırakmanıza izin veriyorlar. Nord Garı'ndan yaklaşık 15-20 dakika yürüyerek ulaşabiliyorsunuz. Odada klima vardı. Belli saat aralığında çalıştırabiliyorsunuz. 

ENG: The hostel is in the most unsafe place in Bucherest. We didn't like the bed sheets cleanliness. The kitchen is common using and it is really disgusting. We stayed a private room, there is a half-window. We didn't sleep until midnight; because the neighboorhood has a noisy and mosquitos are really big problem. Staff is very helpful. They allow to leave your baggage. It is only 15-20 minutes away from Gara de Nord Bucherest by walking. Our room has an A/C. It works only a time period.

Not clean and in unsafe neighboorhood

Quiet place, quite central location. Things a bit worn out but everything is clean. It's a good place if you need to sleep well but not so much if you are looking for party mood. Overall good value for money

Quiet place

It was a very short time to stay here, we just need where to sleep until our flight in the morning. The receptionist was really friendly, he helped me with documents that i need for the reimbursment, but in case you need to pay with the credit card, make sure you have also cash, somethimes the POS doesn't work. Then make sure you have a bed without springs in case you really need to sleep confortably. I would recommed to the owner to clean more often the toilets or to make them more functional and to make them a little bigger :). For me was really important to have internet, which worked perfectly. All in all, for the cheap prise for Bucharest, i liked it!

Not so bad!

- Staff extremely short-tempered and unfriendly
- 'Downstairs area' was not open even in the middle of summer
- The included breakfast was the cheapest option possible
- Windowless and stuffy rooms with no A/C
- Were threatened with being kicked out

Awful, do not visit

Puzzle Hostel is located close to the attractions of Bucharest:Central Railway Station, Romana Square, Victoria Square and many more.It was an interesting experience to stay in a hotel, to share the room with another 3 people, reminded me of the time when I was a student.Minimal furniture, bed, a small closet, a table.Shared bathroom, small kitchen, lounge in the basement.The price is very small, less than 10 Euro / night.The staff is very welcoming and friendly, acceptable cleanliness, open 24-hour reception.It is generally a place to come back if you like to stay in this type of accommodation.
