The fact that is near rhe principle points of view. You have shops, restaurant, farmacie near.

It is a very good location! It is the only positive.One of the elevator is since the 60's and doesn't seems to run well. Terrible smell along the corridor. Rooms are renovated ( the hotel was built under the communist government) trying to look modern. But the surprise comes: NO HOT WATER!!!Please expedite do your diligence job and remove them from your site!

It's a shame that this hotel at the outskirts of old town of Alba Iulia didn't attract any investers to redesign it to make it the hotel with the most beautiful view. Otherwise it's pretty affordable hotel for one night on the outskits of old town.

Just for one night

This hotel needs a renovation. The only good thing is the location. My room was not in good condition, the shower in a state I didn’t even want to use it, so ugly. And mattress so old, I had to use blankets under me as a cushion to be able to lie down. Heavily over prizes for that old rundown.

Simply not good

I couldn't stay there, i asked for a refund. The hotel is an old comunist style hotel, not refurbished, smelly, rubbish elevators, strange people inside, nothing to remember. Strongly not recommended...

Everything was ok, the view was beautiful.

i traveled back  in time...communist regime. probably no updates done in last the last 30 years...only some AC / TV  (only at superior floors - 8-10)hotel thrives only based on the excellent location: few meters away from the citadel.staff really not friendly/helpful. bathroom = some parts from tiles were broken. poor breakfast.

back in time

Beside the location, the hotel is old, staff unfriendly, rooms with mold and fire hazard sockets, dors not closing on bathrooms, hot water yellow if it comes hot ( after about 15 minutes). Breakfast ok. Maintainance personnel enters the room even if you are inside, because of the lack of "do not disturb" sign. The elevator is loud at night

Not a nice experience

We stayed there for 2 nights and it was the most awful place i have ever been checked in to (someone else has made the reservation for the entire student group). It was dirty (we even found a cockroach), very dated and the staff was not friendly. 

You can see our room in the attached photos. When I went to the reception to ask them to give me my money back, they didn’t want to do it, but they gave me another room instead. THEY DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGIZE FOR THE AWFUL CONDITIONS THEY PUT US INTO. The other room was as dated as the first one, but a little bit cleaner.

When we got there, some of our colleagues got stuck in the elevator because they were too heavy  (there were 2 elevators x maximum 4 people each: one was new and the other one was very old- I only used it once, I didn’t feel at all safe in it). It was their fault, of course, but when I went to announce the staff about it, they nodded their head and came 10 minutes later because they had something else to do (YOU DO NOT DO THAT WHEN PEOPLE GET STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR BECAUSE THEY MIGHT PANIC AND THE SITUATION COULD GET EVEN WORSE). We chose to walk the stairs up to the 4th, 8th and 10th floor. 

We had to go to the reception to ask them to turn on the heating for several rooms. They gave an electric radiator to one of my colleagues (totally unprofessional). 
We paid 160 lei/night/room for 10 lei conditions. I even told them that, and they didn’t have any reaction. 

A lot of money for an awful stay

Communist times revived. Leaking pipes in awful bathrooms. No updates done in 30 years...
Hotel thrives only based on a spectacular location, in proximity of the Citadel.
The personnel is reasonable kind.
