This place is terrible really damp very small apartments at side top and below no sound proofing noise for the whole time I stayed there in effective kitchen and cutlery   tiny room cleanliness  bad security bad despite complaining  numerous  times no pool  very very basic the dining area downstairs far to expensive  the supermarket  below the apartments costly indeed never again poor poor poor

I was here during one week and is a fabulous place.
Location is the best in town near everything you need and most intetesting things. 
Bus stop at door and private parking. 
Very comfortable and clean apartments.
Staff very kind, Mr Miguel and Mr David always there for what you need.

The location is excellent and the apartment itself was perfect (well equipped, clean, modern, and comfortable). The owner and staff were very welcoming and gave great tips to help us enjoy our time in Madeira. Moreover, the towels were changed everyday. We will definitely stay here again should we return to Funchal! Thank you.

Wonderful accommodation close to central Funchal.

We spent over five weeks at Avenue Park Apartments. It is a very comfortable facility. Well-equipped apartments with kitchenettes. Super location not far from the center in front of St. Catherine's Park, Cassino and the government residence of Quinta Vigia.
Very nice, friendly and professional staff taking care of the satisfaction of guests. We highly recommend it!

Very comfortable facility in super location with friendly staff

Stayed at Avenue Park in March 2020. A friendly reception awaited us on our arrival. Miguel (PITA) our host and manager was very friendly, welcoming and kind. Our apartment was large and spacious with all the facilities we needed. Towels were replaced regularly and the room kept clean by friendly staff. Our apartment was at the front of the building overlooking the casino and governor’s residence. Sometimes in the evenings and early mornings it was noisy from traffic, so I’d probably recommend an apartment at the rear or side to cut out some noise. Although, considering you’re staying within a 5 minute walk into the centre of Funchal, you have to expect some lively activity. It’s in a great position for accessing all areas of Funchal, including city centre, the marina and just across the road is a beautiful park where you can relax and watch the world go by. There is also parking here if you need it and it’s free! We Would certainly recommend this place and will return again.

Great apartments near to central Funchal !

Clean apartments. They change towels every day. Enough cooking utensils you need. Very friendly and helpful staff. They help with tips ... Nice hotel, good location. Close to town, shops ... Good for families.

My wife and I are just back from a couple of weeks in apart. Turisticos avenue park.our flight was late arriving but the manager David  was there to meet us. Miguel and David could not have been more helpful and always give us very good advice on where to go and how to get there. If we ever needed any thing they were both very quick to assist us The rooms were very clean and all credit to the ladies who did a fantastic job every day.We were able to walk to all of the city centre and the marina and supermarket from the front door and if you fancy a trip to the forum shopping centre it was a good 25/30 minutes walk or a bus from outside . All in all a great place to stay made even better by David and Miguel

perfect location everything on your doorstep

Avenue Park is ideally located, being a 7 minutes walk from the centre of Funchal and on bus routes for the airport, the Lido, Forum and Praia Formosa amongst other places. It is also well placed for the Porto Santo ferry since the port is only a 10 minutes downhill walk away. Across the road is a delightful park (Santa Catarina) and casino; and within 100 metres you will find 4/5 restaurants, an excellent bakery and a shop where you can buy bus tickets.

We spent three nights in a studio apartment and six nights in a one-bedroom apartment.
The studio apartment was perfectly adequate for our needs and we would happily stay in it again for a short period. However, the other apartment offered much more in the way of space and other facilities. It fronted onto the Avenida Infante and therefore, whilst the traffic and pedestrian noise did not bother us, others might want an apartment at the side or back of the block where it is more quiet. Both apartments were cleaned each day. The kitchen was well equipped. The TV offered a large number of channels.  For those travellers like us who rented a car, there is secure parking in the basement.  WiFi is freely available although we found the reception was better in the downstairs lounge which, incidentally, opens onto an terrace.

As for the service we received throughout our stay, we cannot praise Miguel (and David) highly enough: he was charming - very friendly and helpful - he could not do enough for his guests. He sets a high standard in hospitality management. We would like to return to Madeira and, if we do, we will definitely stay at the Avenue Park.

You must stay here!

We stayed a week in a studio here, it was very good! The employees are superfriendly and very helpfull. The studio it was very roomy (even though later i understood it was the smallest one) the kitchen was clean and good, pans and pots, everything was there. The bathroom was good, clean, and it had a very good shower. There is a parking garage under the hotel so you always have a parking space, thumbs up for that also! It is situated in the nicest part of Funchal, across from a park, close to the harbour and stores, and a few nice restaurants.
We enjoyed our stay very much here, and would definately reccomend this hotel!

twin bedded apartment on the front over looking the jackaranda trees and with views to the cruise terminal. Very helpful manager, wanted to know our plans each day as my sister and I went out walking each day, just incase we didn't return. Apartment suited our needs and was fully equipped.{if Needed} added bonus that the room had a service each day, not that we made that much mess as we were out most of the time,
