Porta Doze Guesthouse

I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The guesthouse is very homely, cute little kitchen and cool bathroom, very simple but very cool. The bedrooms are equipped with a pretty powerful freestanding fan, I noticed that in a previous review someone said they were too hot...I’m pretty sure that if you ask, Joanna will organise another one right away to cool you down. I didn’t arrive until gone 10, but this wasn’t a problem and I was met outside the guesthouse and shown my room, and also where to go for breakfast. Breakfast is at Madalena a two minute walk away. Huge bowl of fruit and fresh juice :) or a smoothie bowl and a cappuccino! The guesthouse is two mins from the train station, the bus station and the only five minutes from the port to catch the speedboat over the the islands for the day. If you need a central location, with a homely feel and lovely hosts then I would absolutely recommend staying here. I’ll be back :)
