Great hospitality, the owners are very helpful and friendly. They will make sure you have a perfect holiday experience. We stayed in “apartment grande” for 8 days, the apartment itself is very comfortable, fully equipped and we fell in love with the outstanding terrace on the roof. It’s possible to sit in the shadow on every moment of the day, great views and a nice breeze as well. 

There are great hike possibilities in the direct area, but we can also recommend the hikes in Nisa and Portagem. Detailed information about all the hikes in the area are available in the apartment. We did 7, but there are still many left... The swimming pool is a nice bonus after a day of hiking. We loved our stay, a big thanks to Wim and Elseline for having us and the great hospitality. 

We can strongly recommend a stay in this wonderful Quinta especially if you like rest, nature but also love to live in an a comfortable and fully equipped apartment. A big supermarket is nearby and also the town of Castelo de Vide is very nice. Note: there is no WiFi, but the 4G network is perfect even for streaming movies/radio. We did not missed the WiFi at all. Most of all because we loved to sit outside until late in the evening (the sky is full of stars!). Everything about our stay was absolutely great. 

Amazing surroundings, great hosts and lovely/fully equipped apartment 

We rented the Casa de amor perfeito house for six nights.
It's a perfect spot for a honeymoon, for quality time together, for stargazing from your bed.
The house is very well maintained, suitably equipped for two, and has a few interesting features such as the double walk-in rain shower, the granite wash basin, the design toilet and a few other details.
There's your own terrace sheltered by a tiled roof so even during a downpour you can sit outside and enjoy the scenery - and the show if there's lightning.
It has all the ameneties you'd expect, so you can do your own cooking. The place doesn't offer breakfast but that's no issue, you can fetch croissants and buns the evening before, put them in the fridge and heat them up in the oven the next morning - they taste freshly baked and you'd never know. There's a supermercado a 10 minute drive away and there are a few shops in Castelo de Vide as well.
This particular house is geared towards the honeymoon couple (all shades of red and many heart shaped stuff about) but us being mature enjoyed it just as well.
There's a disused railroad track with a small bridge that runs along the property and adds its charm.
We very much enjoyed our stay, and Wim and Elseline provided us with many useful tips on where to go, what to do and where to shop.  They are clearly very enthusiastic, they've got a good pair of brains between them, and they are perfectionists at what they do as Dutch people often are.  
I love what they did with the pool also,  nice design with a few different corners to sit, choice of seating (or laying about for that matter), choice of shelter from sun, wind or rain ...
Well done guys, full marks on all points !

We very much enjoyed our six night stay in Casa Amor Perfeito.
Cottage is much larger that the photos suggest.
High quality design and layout.
Very comfortable bed.
Perfect kitchen for two foodies.
Swimming pool great for cooling off.
Lots of places to sit in the shade with a book.
Lots of lovely hill top villages to explore.
Pottery (Flor de Rosas) and embroidery (Nisa).
Good tips on wineries, castles and restaurants.
We particularly loved lying on the terrace after sunset gazing in awe at the amazing star-filled sky. (Something we're deprived of in London)
NOTE: It should be obvious, but just to highlight.... This is a very rural area. Great for peace and quiet, wildlife and a slow way of life. NOT good if you want night-life and shopping. Which we didn't!

Very enjoyable stay

The quinta is located in a rural environment. If offers four modern casas with parking spaces. We've had the privilege to stay in casa amor perfeito. This tastfully decorated bungalow provides a living room with a couch, tv, etcetera, and a luxurious kitchen with cooking and dishwasher. The bathroom has two raining showers with a seethrough seeling. When you dim the lights, you can see the stars while showering! Also the bedroom consists of pure romance. Furthermore the casa has an own terrace with a beautiful inspiring view (with an old railroad, that's not in use anymore). Wim and Elseline, the hosts, are hospital and well informed about the surroundings. You can get (touristic) information at their reception. 
I recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants to get rested or get back to nature and appreciated an luxurious stay.

Tastefully decorated casas in a rural environment

We stayed in this lovely quinta for five night with our two sons. The four appartments at this quinta are truly lovely and decorated with great taste and care. Wim and Elzeline the hosts are very nice and will tell you all about the Alentejo region and the places worthwhile exploring when you are here. It is a place for real peace and quiet.
