Very practical, facing the beach. Wow doesn’t get any better. Rooms clean and affordable. Wonderful and helpful staff!

D & B Bluestar Resort was exactly as advertised. Located right on the beach,  the view is amazing. The rooms are very clean and the property well kept. My favorite thing though was the people. The owner actually cooked our made to order breakfast and the staff did their best to accommodate our every need. They helped arrange tours and transportation when we needed it, they offered laundry service, and they generally spent time getting to know us. I definitely recommend this location and will return myself if I’m ever lucky enough to travel the Philippines again!

Good  times

We only planned to stay for 3 nights but end up adding one more night and its a unanimous decision...we just loved the beach. 

Here are the things that I like about the resort:

>Bagobo beach is situated on a peaceful beach front.

>Just a few steps and you are already on the beach. Very few people walking along its shore that makes the beach almost appears private and deserted.

> There are coffee tables, garden chairs, and recliners on the open lawn area where you can comfortably relax and simply gaze into the breezy open sea.

>Attentive staff. I really felt the hospitality (special metion to Ms.Tess who were very accomodating and cheerful)

>Good value for what you paid for.

Perfect Summer Getaway😀😀😀

If you're looking for a place to stay in Bohol, Bagobo beach resort is the perfect place to visit. From the welcome drinks to the food, everything was served promptly, where all guest were treated with the best customer there is. The entire place was generally clean and tranquil. Ideal for travellers.. newly weds honeymooners, dabarkads and family who really need a quiet place to rest where in you can simly retire yourself after a whole day of sea tour, land tour and other funfilled activities. The rate was highly affordable. No hidden charges whatsoever. From the lovely manager Miss Tess Galo, the driver, the receptionist Rhea and the helpers Felix and his buddy. We've enjoyed every minute of our stay at the Bagobo beach resort. The best place to escape from the hustle of busy city life. Good job guys. Worth a two thumbs up. Highly recommended.

Cool down to earth and right on the beach

Great staff and very accomodating..The room was clean and the services are excellent. We had so much fun staying in the resort for sure we are going back here. Over all we are happy that we chose to have funnin this resort.

Recommended beach resort

Tv was smaller then my laptop and no internet on top floor but the next day they moved us to bottom floor and got internet

The staff's warm welcome and impeccable service made our stay unforgettable. The culinary experience was delectable with fresh seafood and breathtaking sea views. Our room was pure luxury, and the resort's activities were a blast. If you seek paradise, look no further.



Unforgettable Beachfront Bliss

Thumbs up:
-location. Situated in front of the beautiful beach of Panglao Island and slightly away from the busy and crowded resorts;
-staff. Courteous and approachable;
-free one hour use of videoke (what's not to like ;);

Thumbs down/things to improve:
-bathroom. You have to bring your own toiletries since toilet paper and small soap are the only ones provided;
-water is...salty :))
-room. Mattress is Too firm (although it was acceptable for me personally).
-transportation to Alona will cost you ₱150 (via their motorbike driven by their staff).

Generally, it's the typical/standard beach resort which is intended for resting and sleeping after spending a day outside - not really the type if you like "staycations" in your room. Still a good place to stay if the beach is your priority in Bohol. 😊
