We had a room for one night with three single beds and a little terrace on the second floor.  The street light shone into the room all night.  The hotel sent a taxi to the airport to pick us up which worked well because it would not be easy to find in a residential area with windy streets and security guards.  The owner also helped us get a taxi to the port the next morning.  If you want to explore LIma, this would probably not be a good option as it is not close to the crneter of the city.  The breakfast was nice.

Clean basic accommodations

We stayed one night between our flight from Sydney to Cusco. Arrived at 5 pm and left at 6 am next morning. The place is perfect for this, they organise pick up from airport about 15 minute drive which cost $12 US dollars each way, paid to the hotel when we paid for our room. Family of 4, one double and two singles beds, for US$60 including breakfast u can't beat the price. The place is really in the back streets so you definitely need them to pick you up, I don't think a taxi would ever find it, it is located in a secure gated neighborhood. The decor is simple but really clean, beds comfy and the bahroom was newly renovated and really nice. The lady who owns it was so helpful and nice, she ordered our dinner for us from a local chicken takeaway and they delivered it to us. The hotel accepts cash only in either US$ or Sols.

Basic, Clean & Perfect for a one night sale

We chose Samaricuy because of its proximity to the airport (we arrived in Lima early evening and departed early the next morning). The hotel is located in a gated residential precinct, so it is very quiet at night. There is no signage in front of the hotel, so our taxi driver, who was waiting for us at the airport, had to ask the man supervising the parking area where the hotel was. As it happened the driver's GPS had taken us to right in front of the hotel. The young lady in charge of the hotel was very pleasant, and when we had completed the brief check-in formalities, I asked what time we would need to call a taxi to be at the airport by 5.30 am next morning. The young lady said "Your taxi will be here at 5 o'clock, and I will have your breakfast ready for you at 4.30." When we came down  at 4.30 next morning, the young lady was just putting our breakfast on the table (fresh fruit, good coffee, juice, breads and jam, ham, cheese, and scrambled egg) and the taxi arrived a couple of minutes before 5.00. Great service! Our room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. This is an ideal hotel for a stopover between flights - cheap and cheerful, clean and friendly.

Great for an overnight stopover

The hotel was very nice and very clean. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was great. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Location was great as well, in a very quiet neighbourhood close to the airport

Very nice stay at this hotel

The arranged airport pick up did not happen and we had to phone to see what was happening. Good room but no hot water. The breakfast was fine and we were taken back to the airport promptly. I would say that it was in an area where you could not go out alone at night.
