Bananas Adventure Hostel

We took the dune buggy and sand boarding tour organised by Banana Adventure Hostel. The buggy, compared to others, was very tired and old looking; however, our driver expertly took us on a thrilling ride through the dunes, and at no time did I feel unsafe. The boarding was down some incredibly steep dunes, akin to a black ski run, and our driver was happy to take pictures for members of our group. Upon completion of the boarding, our driver timed it perfectly, enabling us to catch an incredibly beautiful sunset. We were given generous time to take pictures at our leisure and absorb the changing landscape of the dunes. I do, however, feel a safety briefing would have been beneficial, as one of the group crashed into another's board while descending a dune at high speed. Nothing sinister, but a rather painful abrasion which prohibited more boarding. Take sand fly repellent and never turn your back on a descending boarder or leave your board in their path. I would recommend this trip.
