We didn’t stay at the hotel but had lunch. Lunch was excellent with a good spread of food. As a visitor to Norway, I can say the lunch was cooked with a genuine local flavor and not catered to tourist taste. I really liked it. The view was fantastic and the service was excellent!

Excellent Lunch

A good hotel which we used a stop over towards Oslo. Quite a recent hotel, clean and good. Breakfast was very good and we also had nice dinner at the restaurant. We appreciated the place and would recommend it.

Good Hotel to stay the night

If you are looking for a hotel in a scenic spot this is not for you! But if you need a comfortable, friendly hotel to stay overnight in between A & B then this is perfect!

On arrival my thought was "Oh great, we are staying in a crappy hotel at a truck stop/gas station!" That being said I was very impressed! The room was comfortable & modern, had a large bathroom with a great shower, comfy beds & the staff were wonderful. We had a view of the parking lot but others in our group had a view of the countryside. The rooms are in a separate building to the restaurant but were away from the gas station & were quiet. 
In the main building is a cafeteria-like restaurant, but the food that was cooked to order was simple (burgers etc) but tasty & they even provided me with a GF burger bun. There was a decent bar, and although the eating area was a bit like a motorway service area & not intimate, there is a comfortable lounge with tv, & tables & chairs outside next a quiet green space.  
Breakfast was great & I would say probably one of the most generous on our trip around Norway, with gluten-free bread option for our group members with allergies. I would definitely stop overnight here again. It had everything a group of tired, damp bikers needed!

A strange location (definitely an overnight stop), not fancy but extremely comfortable.

I had been in this hotel last week with my family. The hotel is situated in a wood. It has nice room, but the shower is very uncomfortable. Breakfast was really poor. There were jot a lot of choices. We had a served dinner and it was poor too, but it was tasty. I had higher expectations actually. But the atmosphere was very good for relaxing and having a good time with the family. 

Sufficient 

Prior to arriving here, our guide told us that there was nothing to do and that we should spend (kill?) time while we were in Lom ahead of schedule. The reality is that apart from the Stave Church (which is pretty cool, but I can't find it on TA to review it) there is nothing to do so we retired to a bar and waited until our departure time.

The guide was right about the location of the hotel - it is located by a motorway intersection with nothing immediately around except a petrol station. He also described it as a 'modern' hotel, which really didn't mean anything at the time.

However, after we checked in - and maybe this is a Norwegian thing - reception was in a different building from the rooms. Upon entering the building where the rooms are located, it appeared as if we had entered a type of factory or the inside of a transport ship. 

Once in the room itself, it had the feeling of being in a shipping container! Nice decoration (apparently each room is different) with quotes from Peer Gynt's books/stories on the walls. Luckily we were only there for one night as there wasn't much space for clothes even had we wanted to unpack.

We then went for dinner - included in our tour - and despite knowing it was a set menu, we had no idea what to expect. In the end was were served what appeared to be chicken tikka masala, but which wasn't curry as a main course. I don't know about any of the others, but my chicken was quite rubbery. I wasn't overly impressed.

Walking out of the dining area and into what appeared to be the bar, I was told they didn't serve drinks - was this the time of day/the day itself/general policy? - but they could sell us cans of beer to take to our room. So off we went at around 9.30pm, back to the shipping container with nothing else to do. Luckily there was a working fridge in the room.

One cool thing that I hadn't seen before were several Tesla car charging stations beside the accommodation block. We watched a few people pull up in a car park, find a space, plug their cars in and go to have a coffee or whatever in the petrol station while their cars charged. That was completely new for me, so my best memory of the stay.

Strange place in the middle of nowhere

If you are offered to stay in this establishment, try to avoid it at all costs (unless you have nowhere else to go in the middle of the night). Built only in February 2017, the hotel itself looks modern and clean but in fact this is a roadhouse attached to an eatery and intended mostly for long-haul truckers. The hotel reception does not exist, and the related functions are done by the cashier in the eatery. The food is mediocre and the choice is limited. There is no beer or wine or any alcoholic drinks. There is absolutely no place to have a walk around unless you prefer to stroll on the parking for cars, trucks and trailers. There are, though, several shopping malls if this is your favorite pastime. Don't go there...

A place to avoid

Brand new hotel just off the E6 in Gudbrandsdalen. Stayed with 2 adults and 2 children. Room was spacious, everything new and well-looking. Rate included breakfast. 
Only downside is the price. A bit expensive for a nights sleep, which is what you do here.

New hotel right off the highway

Quick pit stop for a coffee and a visit to the loo on the way to Oslo. Nice place just off the E6. Nice cafeterai with cafe type food including warm meals. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Outdoor seating too.

Coffee break

Stayed two nights for business. New hotel and restaurant situated close to the new main road.
Large rooms and nice bed. Nice and clean. The room have a refrigerator, but you have to fill it yourself.
During breakfast you can also order dishes from the menu. Breakfast is included.

We ate dinner there as well. The seabass was good and perfectly heat-treated.
