677 reviewsI stayed at Jucy Snooze for 2 nights as a break from my campervan whilst roadtripping around Queenstown. It was my first time staying in a 'pod' hostel - and I loved it! My capsule in the 12-pod dorm room was everything I need to crash out and relax in privacy. It was comfy, clean, spacious, and kitted out with a little shelf, mirror and charge point - much better than traditional hostel bunks. I hadn't selected 'female only' (not sure if there was even that option on booking) but there were only other girls in there, so perhaps they try to do this where they can. The whole complex was modern and clean, great bathrooms/showers and friendly staff. Great location right in the centre of town. Rooftop bar has good vibes at night with deals on food/drink, and yum woodfire breakfast rolls. Only negative for me was I didn't realise the communal kitchen area gets locked up overnight until 6am, so I had to wait around for a little while to rescue my food from the fridge before heading off super early to hike Ben Lomond. Highly recommend and would stay again!
