We come to Maastricht for the Andre Rieu concert and on visiting the lovely town of Valkenburg, found this restaurant last year in.   We were impressed then and on our return this year were not disappointed - had dinner there on the Friday and Sunday nights.  There are lots of restaurants to choose from so it was pretty much lucky dip the first time - 'lucky' being the operative word!  This year we knew exactly which restaurant we were going to and again were delighted with the excellent standard of the food and service.  I don't have individual names but in particular there was a young lady, a young man with dark hair and a young Englishman.  All very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.  Hope to be back next year.

Our second visit - not disappointed!

Nice small hotel in a Nice arera. Bath is not in the room.  It can be at little cold. What puts this humble little hotel on top is the atmosphere. 
Nice People. Good trappist beer, and when you follow Amstel Gold Race its perfekt.
See you next year.

Nice cosy an very close to Cauberg

This is a nice small hotel, centrally located.

We spent one night here, the room was quite small but adequate with WC and shower nearby. All nice and clean.

Staff very friendly and efficient and allowed luggage storage before check in and after checking out so we could wander around without suitcase.

We chose to have our evening meal elsewhere but had drinks on the terrace later in the evening.

This is a busy street in the evening so expect a little noise from the many bars etc, but no more than would be expected.

For one night it’s a great place to stay and good value for money.

I’d stay here again.



Nice small hitel

The town is very busy with lots of restaurants offering food.drawing lots of Couples, families and hen weekenders the place is buzzing. We sat down for the €15.96 three course meal and it was good value and the table allowed us to eat and people watch at the same time. 

Slight caution. If you choose to eat outside, the Dutch smoke constantly. People on all the tables around us were smoking, often between mouthfuls of food. 


Stopped by just for food

Located in lovely little town of Valkenburg. Small clean and good value. Food and Service excellent.
Street life at night adds to the atmosphere. Ideally located if attending Grand Prix in Spa Francorchamps - will return   

Just what I expected

Booked this online. In the centre of Valkenburg no car park nearby the welcome was very good,so we were looking forward to our stay. BUT this is not for anyone wishing to sleep. It is in the centre as stated we had Lound music and people shouting until well passed 2.00am 6.00am workmen started their work on the building opposite. We left to find somewhere else. This may be OK for young back packers (most of whom were asleep when we were leaving that day).not a good place to stay.
