I can not say enough good about this hotel and staff. This has been the worst vaction of my life. Without the help and kindness of staff I don't know what would have happened to me. The owner manager is always on grounds and his son speaks good English. A Special thanks to Alina she aways has smile on face and  serves with great ambition.  The only thing is food could be little better. Took me several days to figure out what I could eat. Borscht is excellent. Thanks IRA-DANA. Stayed here 2 weeks

Shining Star of Unghine

Very old classic feel, It was very quiet Jan 7th, rooms were basic ok, Price was cheap in my money, I would stay here again. No One spoke English but thats to be expected...............................

Night I will never forget.

The rooms are ok, but staff disappointed us completely. We have checked in Saturday afternoon, but we arrived at hotel at 6.30 AM after a wedding night. We have been 4 rooms in this situation and the receptionist told us that we can check out at 1 PM even at reception if was mentioned check out at 12 noon.

We have made the program for check out at 1 PM but at 12 noon we was threatened to leave the hotel as quickly, because we overstayed. This was the manager decision.

In this case we left the hotel in 10 minutes, without even wash or to prepare for a new day.

We talked to the manager and said he does not care, at 12 noon we must leave the room.

In conclusion, the hotel is clean but the staff has no respect for customers! If I have to check in at Ungheni, I will look for other hotels.
