The actual entrance to the lobby of this hotel is a little hard to find as you need to take the elevator up a couple of floors from the street entrance, although there were no signs indicating this.  Other than that, the hotel is centrally located making it ideal for exploring the historic parts of this city.  The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet, while the  complimentary continental breakfast was quite good.  In addition, the front desk staff were very helpful and at least some of them spoke English.  We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are back in Xalapa.

Good Central Location

The hotel itself is a typical holiday inn, very clean, and safe amongst the hustle and bustle of a Mexican city. However the thing that impressed me the most was the honesty of the staff. My partner left his mobile phone in the room and by the time we realised we were 450km away. We rang the hotel in the evening and the phone had been found and handed in! Definitely not expected in Mexico! So in particular I would like to thank the staff who handed the phone in and in particular Jose on front of house who was Super friendly and spoke good English, and who kept the phone safe until DHL picked it up. Thank you!

Very happy with our stay

It is a very good option in Xalapa. The hotel looks like it's new or it was recently remodeled. It is on the third floor of a shopping center, so you have restaurants, shops and a movie theater just under. Also, the parking is right under the Hotel, and it's free. 
The rooms are spacious, and the beds super comfy. We got a room with a nice view of the city. 
The Hotel is right behind the city center, so it's easy to walk around. 
Also, they offer a nice buffet breakfast in the morning, which was included in our room price.
We stayed only one night, but we were very happy with our stay. Highly recommend it.

Good Hotel, New, and Excellent Location

It is a very good option for staying in downtown and great for Club Hípico Copexpan (only 10 min away) where I had my meeting.  Breakfast decent but not great.  Do not gave me welcome points for IHG!  Just crossing the street from the Cathedral and Ayuntamiento.

The hotel staff were very kind and knowledgeable.
The rooms were great! This hotel has been recently renovated and it shows. 
The breakfast was delicious, and you can include it with your booking for just a little more - it's worth it!
The view from our room was delightful, we even got a peek of the peak!
Conveniently located at the heart of Xalapa and within walking distance to government buildings (with gorgeous murals), the Cathedral, and Diamond Alley. Also, located within a shopping mall with great food options. 
I would go back in a heartbeat!
