The condo in a perfect location, close to restaurants, local shops and the beautiful beach.  The complex has been well cared for. We rented bikes and rode to the monkey sanctuary stoped in the Playa for a margarita before we headed back. We enjoyed breakfast at Lu Buena Vida, it’s a must!  good coffee, and the views! We stayed in condo #5. The unit was clean and had everything we needed for a nice relaxing vacation. Daily maid service was really nice along with the beach chairs for us to use. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our week at these apartments, set on a residential private road, nice beach and only a few minutes drive for a 20 minute walk from the village restaurants and shops , two small supermarkets were reasonably stocked. We particularly liked the Turtle `Bay Cafe & Bakery which it's good food and the wonderful Lucy's homemade ice cream .
Good location for trips to Tulum, Coba and local cenotes . Imelda's Ecocina  a cash only family run restaurant , only a few tables , but great local cuisine

Found this place just by driving by...it was fantastic we will definitely go  back everything about it was amazing spent 2 nights. Views were breathtaking. Staff very friendly. Helpful. The condo. .a 2 bdrm unit was so nice clean . very big well equipped has everything you need and the decorations makes you really feel you are in Mexico.  

Great place stayed in unit 1 the snorkeling is really good the beach does have a lot of coral in half moon bay. The staff was nice and very helpful. It was a great place to stay and will be back for sure 

Our family of four (two adults, two kids) recently stayed in Condo #8, which is on the top floor.  It was awesome.  There are two bedrooms, each with its own bath.  There is a small kitchen which is perfect for vacation cooking.  There's also a dining table that works for eating, card games, puzzles, etc.  Finally, there's a living room and balcony, both of which face the sea.  We spent hours just watching the waves.  The decor is nice, and the view is amazing.    The beach is rocky, but that makes for great snorkeling. We saw many, many species of fish in the water and the kids had a great time just jumping in the waves.  There were turtle eggs on the beach, but we didn't see any hatching.  The daily housekeeping was terrific.  They did a great job and were flexible about what time they came.  Luna Azul is close to many attractions, and there's easy access to shops and restaurants.  Parking was also easy.  Overall, a great place to stay!!

We just came back from Akumal, and we loved our vacation!
Stayed at Luna Azul 7 (top floor) for 4 days (3 adults and a 9 year old). The view from our top floor was spectacular and we loved the breeeze and the sound of the waves.
The place was very clean, with daily maid service. Kitchen was well equipped.
Gualberto and Marcial from guest service were very friendly and offered needed help and advice.
The beach is good for snorkeling, but it does have corals pretty close to the shore, so if you are looking for kid-friendly beach, you'd have to walk some 15-20 minutes to the public beach. The walk is totally worth it as you can swim with the turtles there,
We would (and most likely will) come back to this place again and again.
