We spent a beautiful weekend with my boyfriend at TX Hotel. The room was clean, with a enjoyable view to the lake. green areas are well kept and the pool area is very nice... the bar is very close to the pool, so we could swim and enjoy our favorite drinks. The food was included. They surprised us cause the whole service was excellent and we paid a very low price. Thank you to housekeeping, they prepared the room for our anniversary, it was lovely!
I definitely recommend TX Hotel!

lovely weekend

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and the place is beautiful.
Do not expect any Hilton furniture or anything, this place is very unique and it is the perfect get away from the CIty Life.

The view to the lake is amazing. The rooms are very minimal and perfectly clean! (hard to find very clean rooms in hot weather). You can do some aquatic activities in the lake and the boat will come pick you up directly at the hotel.

The food was just amazing, I tasted every plate on the menu and they all were amazingly tasty.
The drink at the bar are also very well served.

On the downside:
At night I feel like there is not much lighting, in some parts you can barely see.
And you will find some dead fishes by the shore of the lake. (The lake is very clean and the water is very warm, it is perfect for the aquatics activities).

Very "Traditional" Getaway Hotel

My friend, her daughter and I came here for a "spa getaway." We stayed one night due to the late hour and changed hotels the next day. While the staff was very friendly and quite accommodating, the rooms were VERY sparse. There was no clock, no carpet/rug, no tableside lamps and no way this was a 3 star hotel as we were told by Bestday travel agency.
     The rooms were clean, but when you are given a key attatched to a large block of wood AND a can of bug spray...you know you're not at the Hilton!
The beds were a bit lumpy, but clean. The towels were clean, but torn and ratty.
The meals were to be included in this pkg, but when we went down to breakfast the next morning, they were out of milk, eggs, tortillas, orange juice and even Coke! What gives? We ate toast...dry as they were out of butter.
     The pool was clean, but the concrete around it was jagged and in need of a good paint job. As a matter of fact, the whole place could use a new coat of paint to liven it up! 
If all you need is a place to stash your gear and crash...go for it! If you are looking to relax in a spa atmosphere (the "spa" was a tent area off to the side of the property) go elsewhere.

3 nights and 2 days package (with meals and drinks included). They surprised us cause the whole service was excellent and we paid a very low price.
