This small hotel is all you need for a short stay in beautiful La paz , its one block away from Malecon , its tidy and chill ,  the lady who is working there at the desk who named Margarita is really nice and helpful as well. 

Tidy, economic, safe and centric

It has very central location, safe, secure. I had private  room, it was very clean, kitchen was clean too.
There were always someone on reception to help. Laundry was cheap, but water runs slow, I had to help myself and put water in laundry machine manually to save time.

clean and comfortable

Construction BANGing and Heavy Metal when I come in after shopping. Surreal/Comical if I wasn't so tired. Then I go over to their other spot whete I hah had a pretty good time before. The new counter help was rude. Sometimes you lose...still adequate..clean & wifi.

Horrible 

Baja paradise hostel was a great place to stay. Peaceful, quiet, comfortable hostel. I had great sleep in my private room. Air conditioning worked great. It's a cheap priced simple hostel about 2 blocks from the malecon. It's perfect for saving extra money for travelers not looking for something to fancy. I went on 2 snorkeling trips with the Cortez club & fun baja tours. I stayed for 7 days. The girls on Staff were friendly & helpful. I enjoyed the stay. Thanks baja paradise hostel 

Visiting La Paz Baja 

I booked this place based on the amazing reviews from TripAdvisor and Booking.com. But boy, did I make a wrong decision. For $20 a night, I've stayed in hostels that run for a cheaper price and still get a much much better accommodation than here. For an economy room with a private bathroom, there's a pretty hard spring bed, a fridge, a  night stand with a lamp, some random purse/coat hanger stand with really old and twisted hangers, and a patio-style table with a chair. Everything's there to sufficiently meet your basic needs for lodging, albeit at a very low-end of the quality. The bathroom has a strange smell of old mildew of some sort that I couldn't quite place. Perhaps this could be due to poor ventilation. The shower caddy and some toothbrush holder are both made of rusty metals, which is a sign that they're due to be replaced. The lighting in the bedroom could also use a change since the whiter hues are too harsh for a calm and relaxing setting. But nevermind the furnitures--the worst part of my stay was in the placement of the kitchen at this place. I don't know if I just happen to book a night in the middle of a family gathering or what, but it was loud as hell from the time I checked in (~3PM) until 9PM. There were people talking, banging stuff on the wall and/or ground, babies screaming, literally all right outside of my door. I was tired from a 3 hour bus ride and trekking on foot with all my stuff all the way to the hotel, but I couldn't even take a quick nap since my ear plugs couldn't even block out the sound. And the next morning, the whole thing repeated again at 6AM. I can't stand it. Despite what everyone else says on here, I totally disagree with their gushing reviews. Only stay here if you're really desperate for a quick sleep (if you can manage to get some), or otherwise spend a few more bucks to stay at other hotels where you could actually feel like you're on vacation instead of sleeping in a cafeteria.

Adequate if you're only looking for a quick shut-eye for the night

Rooms are clean, bathroom clean and a kitchen to share if you want to cook your meals!
But there is also very nice and rustic restaurant that serves good breakfasts if you prefer.
We were happy to have access to a washer and hang our clothes to dry (there is also a dryer but I preferred to hang the clothes outside).
When you come in after a walk and a drink, watching the sunset on the Malecon, it's like coming back home almost. 
Friendly people, very nice to stay here.

All you need and close to the Malecon

Very quiet and comfortable. Small rooms but funky building. Only a 2 block walk to the malecon. One way street easy parking but no off street parking. Very welcoming and comfortable for my dog. Hosts speak English and are very efficient if a little shy. Breakfast not included but there is a little local breakfast/lunch restaurant attached. 

Rustic and quiet

I spent one week here and It was Great!! This was truly everything I wanted in LaPaz. It's not a resort class 5 hotel however if you want to save money and stay somewhere nice with a super great staff this place is a hidden treasure. It's located in the best area of LaPaz and two blocks off the beach. This was my third time to lapaz and I just found it. I will for sure be back!!
