1. Location - Protected Area ( No AC allowed to build in Protected Area)
2. Far away from the Highway(fumes, light pollution)
3. Safe for female SOLO travelers. ( might be the only one that is safe for women in the whole desert, i have been visiting Wadi Rum camps since 2010 yearly !)
4. Great, Homemade Jordanian Food !
5. Quite, usually not crowded.
6. Bathroom, beds, bedsheets, pillows, extra blankets, mirror, electrical outlet available in the room.
7. Has econom rooms, as well as Panorama rooms with a wall size window facing beautiful Wadi Rum Valley.
8. Great spot for quite stargazing at night, you can ask for special mattress and sleep outdoors from april to october easily.
9. No loud music, no bothering from the staff, you are left alone to enjoy the beauty of the desert.
10. I highly recommend this camp if you like serenity and simplicity.



Safe and beautiful location for Solo travelers and groups alike !

I spend unique time in the Wadi Rum desert at the colored camp! The location is simply breathtaking and that would be already enough, but also the accommodation and the shared space where I had the meals with the other travelers (Amazing and abundant variation of delicious food!)) was great, very in line with the local bedouin culture. Also, the experience of having the tea at night in the cave in front of the fire with the tales of the manager about the ancient stories of the desert was something that I will certainly keep in my heart!All the operators there were very kind and up to help and give information, really welcoming with anyone.Regarding the tour then, it was spectacular! I had a ride with the jeep and saw al the best spots of the area, including high dunes of red sand, picks of rocky mountains, incredible canyons, and then we were hosted in tents with bedouins of the place to have relax and tea at sunset. I could not imagine something more exiting! Really great experience, I recommend it so much

 Wonderful atmosphere 

Amazing place, friendly staff, and great service. The highlights of this resort is its cleanliness and food. The tours were extremely enjoyable with lots of adventurous rocks climbing and sand walking. The area has a great positive aura. Overall, it was a greta experience!

Desert Rose Camp is very beautiful and quite place, it's close to nice rock formations, so it's perfect to wander around in the sand and climb the rocks.
The view is amazing and the camp is clean. Food is delicious and the stuff friendly and helpful.

Beautiful experience

Awesome stay in February, despite the unexpected rain we enjoyed a great jeep tour and we hiked up a canyon thanks to the friendly guide. The camp is in the middle of beautiful dunes just a few meters away from rock formations you can explore on foot.... Perfect for people seeking to stretch their legs while enjoying the beauty of Wadi Rum

One of the most amazing experience I’ve had it’s a must beautiful food atmosphere beautiful sunset and sunrise  amazing service And best rock climbing experience and buggy ride experiences definitely recommend

An amazing view

Really nice camp surrounded by beautiful mountains and red dunes. You can climb the mountains and enjoy the sunset.
The food is great and they also sell beer for a reasonable price :)
The camp also offers a lot of activities like jeep tours, camel rides, hikes and so on.

Amazing camp with super friendly staff

I visited this camp with my friends and this is what I found this is One of the most beautiful Camps in Wadi Rum very private, clean rooms, and spectacular view for Wadi Rum mountains.

Very friendly staff and lots of activities to do.

A weekend to remember

I stayed in the camp before and also this time I was amazed. 
You stay in the desert, but enjoy all the luxery you need. Sure sometimes the water is cold or the light doesn't shine as bright as you wish, but hey, you are in the most beautiful place on earth, who cares. 
Probably the best meals I had since arriving in Jordan, hard to believe it is cooked in the desert. 
Samir is the best host ever and will make sure you enjoy your stay in the camp. You can book your jeep tours or camel rides directly with him when you arrive.
I will defenitaly come back!!! But next time I'll make sure I'll come for more then 2 nights.
There is no place like Wadi Rum, and if you visit it you might as well do it in the best camp.
