17 reviewsIt is 15-20 minutes walk from the Himeji station. One may consider it some distance away, but I like a tiny journey to the Hotel. From the station we pass through an area which was, I suppose, a residential district or the merchants' zone spreading near the Himeji Castle in the era of the castle lord's government. We can see some old shrines or streets among modern buildings. Residents in the area and the masters of small shops around here look very friendly and honest. The hotel building, rooms and facilities may look a little bit old, but I noticed they have been maintained and cleaned very well with a great care. The employees of the hotel are very honest and sincere. I like the facilities and people here though they do not look so modern and luxury. The hotel does not have a grand restaurant. There is only a small bar and cafe where I found very nice breakfast in both Japanese and Western style. The break fast is not buffet style and you have to make reservation in the day before.
