It was my first time in the traditional Japanese inn and I loved the experience. The room with tatami mats on the floor, very comfortable futon bed, low table and chair. The room was a very good size and very clean. The public bath was so relaxing after the day of sightseeing. I could choose very pretty, colourful kimono to put onin the evening . Breakfast and dinners were divine - very tasty Japanese food, beautifully presented.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The ryoakan provides free shuttle to the station every morning. You can also rent a bicycle free of charge. Overall, fantastic place, highly recommended.
