The hotel was conveniently located near the train station.  Service was great, hotel is clean, employees are courteous and friendly.  Only the breakfast could have been a little better.  The menu is set---you get a little sandwich and soup and you can self serve some cereal, but that is about it.  I'm a little spoiled, I like the breakfast buffet that I've eaten at many other hotels.  This was the only downside to this hotel.  Otherwise, everything else was fine.

Convenient to the station

From the south exit of Shizuoka Station, walk toward the intersection with seven-eleven, turn right at the intersection and you will see the hotel, orangeish building from the outside. it takes just 1-2 minutes from the station. In front of the hotel, there are many restaurants selling Japanese food like Gyoza and Oden. The room was really nice. I reserved the non-smoking room and when I went inside, I could not smell any of the cigarette which was very great compared to other hotels but the bathroom was a bit small.The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything.

A Few Minute from Shizuoka Station

very near Shizuoka station with friendly staff. They also have individual wifi passwords for each room so the connection is pretty good. 
the building was so pretty from the outside too.
lack of convenience stores around the area, the nearest one is near the station.
