I ended up having to spend 2 nights in Okayama (very nice surprise actually!). The capsule is a 2 minute walk from the station. It's compact, efficient, clean and has a nice sauna/wet area with hot/cold/jacuzzi pools. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. No tattoos allowed, male only

Excellent base for a quick stop

It was in a best location; just opposite to the Okayama JR station and next to shopping street. There were a lot of restaurants / groceries / department store near by.
I enjoyed the hot sauna, esp. after a whole day's walking.

After all, if I will go solo again and just pass by Okayama city, I dont mind staying at this capsule lodging again.

Best location for a quick stay

Location is good - it's just across the road from the train station. Capsule itself is bit warm and suffocating but you may expect the capsule to be little bit like that like the other typical capsule hotels. They provide you with towels and pyjamas as well as toiletries. Locker is not big enough for suitcase/ big backpack as expected but they will charge you for a bigger locker rather than storing it for free for you like some other capsule hotels. You need to leave the capsule by 10 and from 9:30 there is a very annoying non stop announcement urging you to do that. It is a OK place to stay if you happen to be in Okayama.

Capsule hotel across the road from the train station

As most foreigner, I chosed this one because it was so close to JR Station for one short stop. Well the position is pretty much the only positive point... I have slept in several capsule hotels in Japan, this one was the most expensive (3500¥?!) and the first time I couldn't sleep. The capsules are a bit old and therefore extremely noisy. You hear the ventilation all night long and feel the vibrations too. Moreover, the lights in the staircase and the toilets are on ask night, there's no door to close and the curtain of the capsule do not completely shade the light. Result? Everytime you open your eyes, you are actually in full light... The breakfast was pretty poor as well: rice, a raw egg and a bowl of Miso soup.
On the other hand, the spa is nice. But not worth it! 

Bad even for a quick stop

Very close to the JR station so the location cannot be beaten. The public bath is Ok and looks modern, service is typical Japanese so it won't go wrong. However, the biggest problem is there are no sealed door in the sleeping capsule, only a thin curtain instead. You cannot sleep well as you can hear everything outside, even if only a tiny walking noise. I wouldn't recommend you to stay here even only a short stay.
