17 reviewsWe drove from Naha airport to Iyashi no Resort without taking the Expressway and it took around two hours, two hours and a half. With the navigation system we could find the resort relatively easily. Apparently, it is very difficult to get there without a car. Nakajin is an excellent basis to explore northern Okinawa. To the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium it is a15-minute drive, to the starting point of the hike to the Hiji falls it is a one-hour drive. Supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The Japanese room was big and quiet; it was equipped with a small kitchen and was very comfortable. A wifi connection is available. Our highlight was having our own breakfast in the garden outside our room: what a gorgeous view! The lady who checked us in (the owner, I think) was very kind and friendly. She spoke very little English but with her English and our basic Japanese we could understand each other well. She also has a booklet with all information in Japanese and in English. We could only pay cash. I would highly recommend this accommodation.
