Huge room and best location for Miyajima. No staff there but E-mail response is very quick and kind. 11月13日に2階のお部屋に宿泊させていただきました。部屋はとても広くて宮島に船で着いてすぐにチェックイン可能なロケーション。

It was an amazing place to stay. The design is typically Japanese - modesty and taste together. The location is superb - just across the ferry port. The dorms are cozy and beds comfortable. Bathrooms are super clean and the kitchen area is really comfortable. You realise quickly that the owners take pride in this venue and appreciate it when you respect the rules, i.e. clean after yourself. The staff members were very polite and explained everything on arrival. It's one of the best stays in Japan for me.

This is absolutely the best, best, BEST hostel I've ever stayed in. This hostel is literally only about a 10 minute walk away from the ferry (it's so close and easy to find!). When you check in, the staff take your suitcases and wipe the wheels, and then help bring it up to your room for you. I've never had the wheels of my luggages wiped before, which indicates how CLEAN this hostel is. You take off your shoes when you enter, and walk barefoot/in socks throughout the rest of the hostel. They have a kitchenette area for you to cook your own food if you wish. The rooms are so clean and the beds are so comfortable. You make your own bed, and blankets as well. This place didn't feel like a hostel, or a hotel - it felt like someone's home and that's why I loved this place. If I were to visit Miyajima again, I would absolutely stay at this hostel again. It's budget friendly and is just the best hostel experience I have ever, ever experienced. They don't take groups of 6 or more, so we split our group up. Absolutely stay here if you're traveling solo or with a few friends. This is an excellent hostel.

Absolutely fantastic hostel, the best I've stayed at. Everything is in pristine condition and very clean. Ideal location, right across from the ferry terminal. Light sleepers might experience some trouble falling asleep if people are snoring, but that's to be expected in hostels.

Kaniwa hoste is propably one of the best guesthouse you could ever stay. Perfect location, just opposite the ferry terminal. Very kind and helpful couple who manages the hostel. Neat and clean decoration.

The hostel is in such a peaceful location, super close to the ferry and it is so lovely to spend time on the island after everyone has left. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathroom facilities are great and very clean. The only things that I found could be improved would be perhaps an offering of even a basic breakfast as it is so difficult to get breakfast on the island early in the morning and also to have some better security as the rooms have no locks, although lockers with locks for smaller items are provided and some of the day there is no one on reception, although I can see that the area is particularly safe. They also allow bags to be left just by reception on the day of checking out, however if no one is at reception then someone could easily walk in the front door and take bags with no one catching them. This being said I would definitely return to the hostel if I returned to Hiroshima area.
