We stayed at Jorgenwirt for 7 days as in a home base for a ski tour package,
The place is located in a village over a Fuldthurns between all major ski resort of the area. It will take you 30 minutes to get to Plose and 45 to Val Gardena. The place is located really high and it is a perfect opportunity for drivers to improve their skills during thrilling drives up the hill on narrow and curvy roads. We happened to be during sunny days but it seems to be hard to get to the top without a winter chains on your tires. If you drive based on navigation the shortest track is quite dangerous and it is better to spend 3-4 minutes more on more safe and convenient alternative.
The first impression is not very friendly as the hotel is pretty old but not in a cozy way.
Rooms are quite spacious and beds offer comfortable sleep. You may only hear a church bells in the morning or people waiting for a morning bus at the front of hotel if you are facing  parking that is located across the road.
Poor selection of food for breakfasts (no vegetables and hot dishes), three dish and salad bar package for dinner. All drinks paid separately on daily basis ( no total payment at the end of a stay).  Dinner usually quite tasty although in case of vegetarian selection you have to be careful – sometimes you can find a bacon inside of them ;).
The place has an old style dry sauna, extra paid Jacuzzi and shower massage. The sauna is operating only till dinner is served ( 6 p.m.) ...which makes it practically not available to use if you want to fully use your skiing opportunities. A really strange rule as usually sauna and wellness are aimed to  meet ski fans needs.
Ski Room is wrongly named as in fact it is just one of the rooms in the basement – no heaters for boots, no lockers or place to store your ski in professional way.
WiFi is available but working poorly and only at the front of reception.
The staff differes - from not that pleasant owner to a youg waiter fluently speaking English / German, always ready to help.
Honestly I had real doubts how to judge the place - the best score would be around 2.5

The best days of the place has gone a long time ago.

We stayed here with our ski club.  The hotel staff stayed late for our arrival and had dinner prepared for our group!  We were not expecting this and were very pleasantly surprised.  The rooms are pretty large compared to some others I have stayed at in Europe and they were very clean.  Breakfast was the normal fare.  We were staying there as half board and the food was outstanding and plentiful!  The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because it is pretty far from the Dolomiti Super Ski area.  In a bus, it took almost one hour to get to the ski area.  Maybe in a small car it would take less time.  You would definitely need a car in this area.  However, the owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating for our group.  Charming guesthouse!
