We spent four nights in San Vito Lo Capo and had a wonderful stay in Amoreo. None of the owners spoke any English, but they really made an effort to communicate and we managed to get by with our broken Italian, some Spanish and a lot of hand gestures. Our room was located on the second floor. It had a small balcony, a good shower, very good beds and was kept immaculately clean. Wifi signal was good.

The breakfast, served on the terrace on the second floor, was absolutely great. The owners baked a bunch of fresh cakes every morning, and besides that there were croissants, savoury sandwiches, fruits, yogurt and cereal, coffee, tea and juices, all in copious amounts. Every morning after breakfast they wrapped up some of the food that was left and gave it to us for lunch, which was very nice. 

The only minor drawback is that the B&B is located on the corner of Via Mattarella, which can be noisy. We slept with the windows open and used earplugs, it might be quieter if you close the windows and turn on the a/c. Nonetheless, we would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for genuine Sicilian hospitality.

Genuine hospitality

After a long driving day from Ragusa we were received at this lovely place by the owners. They gave us very good practical information about the hotel, the surroundings and the beach. Since one of us has allergy to milk and gluten, they were very helpful in finding out fruits and hams for the breakfast. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay there and felt like at home. It was so nice to be part of the "family" during our brief stay at San Vito. 

We definitely recommend Amoreo when visiting San Vito lo Capo!

Just like at home!!!

This family owned B&B is located in a small street in the centre of San Vito, five minutes away from the beach and from pubs and restaurants. Rooms are brightly coloured, clean and full of comforts (fridge, safe, hairdryer, TV). Our room was white and blue and had a small balcony. It's very good value for your money and I highly recommend it!

a very lovely place

nice, friendly place ,clean rooms and great home made breakfast!! 5 mins walk to the beach, in small city centre. unfortunately owners not speaking english so was hard to understand but we managed with our phone translators :) there s no free parking at all, n hard to get internet. weather in august was extremely hot :) we paid quite lot of money for just one night stay in a simple hotel but everything else was fully booked so there was not much choice left in august. If u want to find good place for good price u must book it way ahead.

one night stay

We spent a day in the wonderful Riserva Naturale dello Zingaro this June and needed last minute accommodation in the area.  We chose Amoreo in San Vito lo Capo, based on its high rankings on Tripadvisor and on the whole were not disappointed.
Friendly reception by the owners, despite our late arrival time.
Our room was clean and modern, though without much charm.   The modern ensuite bathroom had a good shower.  There was no street noise, but a constant soft humming in the background, from an electrical fuse box on the wall in our room (seeing as we booked on the day, we got the last room they had left, with a small window high up the wall).  We had earplugs, so slept allright.  
We were pleasantly surprised the next morning with copious amounts of delicious lemon and other cakes and berries for breakfast, as well as (rare on the Italian breakfast table) a savoury option in the form of freshly made tomato and olive bread.  Juices and yoghurt also offered.  The lady serving the breakfast was genuinely friendly and very generous.
Downside: there is no free parking (almost everywhere in San Vito you have to pay to park between 8am and midnight - at 1 EUR per hour this quickly adds up)
On the whole good value for money compared to some of the other accommodation we had on this trip.
