Seven Hills Village

We stayed here in our mobile home, in July 2019. The staff were fabulous, helpful, approachable and friendly, they even dog-sat for us, so we could visit the Coliseum and the Forum in the searing heat. If you want a tranquil stop that is an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of Rome, this is the place. The facilities were fine, no extra charges for showers, as there are at other resorts. Also the dappled shade of the trees and the constant chirping of cicadas made this, for us, a paradise. As we did not want to drive and park in Rome we used the camp’s little shuttle bus to the station and caught the train into Rome. To be honest the public transport puts us to shame in the UK, it is cheap, immaculate, spacious (double decker trains), speedy and on time; it is also integrated, so the same ticket gave us access to the underground and the buses free all day, as well as returning us. The amenities part of the this review are irrelevant really, as this site also has camping, which we used, and so we had our own amenities with the exception of the pool. Therefore we cannot comment about the lodges, other than the fact the staff were brilliant and friendly.
