15 reviewsMy boyfriend and I stayed at Ca' Rina about a year ago and ive being meaning to write a review for a while now (very sorry for the delay). Ca' Rina is a play of words. It literally means Rina's home but "carina" means pretty or cute and this is certainly true of the host and house! My boyfriend is Italian and so did most of the talking but as soon as Rina found that I am from England, she immediately moved her kettle upstairs along with black tea bags so that I would feel comfortable in her home. Every morning she prepared breakfast with a nice mixture of meat, cheese, joghurt, fresh fruit and fresh bread. Her son Dario made cakes (an amazing baked cheesecake) and fresh juice was available too. Rina gave us some really nice tips for day trips and was very knowledgeable about the local area. Rina and Dario made us feel so welcome and for the few days that we were there, Rina and I started a language exchange, where she spoke in English and I had to answer in Italian. The view from the bedroom was lovely with Italian countryside right infront of our noses and the house was clean, spacious, modern and let in lots of like. I would like to thank Rina and Dario for an amazing time and hopefully Simone and I can visit again soon.
