Nunzia’s place was an absolute gem. After 1 1/2 weeks traveling throughout Italy seeing museums and doing tours, a few days of relaxation to end our trip was just what we needed and this place was perfect for that! Nunzia’s place sits just above Positano, in a peaceful area. It is also walking distance to two great restaurants, Il Ritrovo and Frattoria Tagliata - both highly recommended! Nunzia was such an amazing host! She went above and beyond for us, providing recommendations and setting up transportation to/from places. She was always accessible via text to answer any questions we had, and was even so kind as to set up breakfast early for us on our last day since we were leaving prior to the 8am breakfast time. Things to keep in mind: this place IS walking distance to Positano, but fair warning, there are quite a few stairs you will need to walk down in order to reach it (roughly 20 min walk from B&B to Ristorante Bruno). I would recommend taking the stairs down at least once for the views, and then use the Local SITA bus (1.30 euro per ticket, can be purchased in Tabacchi shops) to get to and from the Positano city center. Traffic depending, it takes roughly 20-35 min to go either direction so not too bad. Stairs aside, we would absolutely stay here again! It was everything we didn’t realize we needed in a B&B. Thank you again Nunzia! You are truly amazing.

A must if you want peace and serenity near Positano

My husband, my 9 year old and I stay in this beautiful place this summer, this place is located in Montepertuso away from busy Positano but close enough to visit everyday the beach and the rest of the Amalfi Coast.It was so nice to be in a small town with great restaurants.
This B&B is perfect ! Clean and surrounded by a beautiful view.In the morning fresh berry yam or peach cake all from the backyard of this house.

Great Stay

Amazing accomation away from the hustle and bustle of Positano. The view is breathtaking and you look over a beautiful veggie garden and lemon trees. The kitchen is free to use if you like for cooking and there is an amazing restaurant and pizzeria nearby. You do need to get a bus up to the accommodation but we had no problem with this and found it quite enjoyable. There are many steps down to the beach and town which we liked however may not be suitable for all so make sure you consider this before booking. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing

If you like to be a little off the beaten track, with amazing views from your balcony of Positano, hosts who are incredibly obliging and provide beautiful breakfasts, then L'Uliveto is a the perfect place to stay.
It takes a short local bus ride from Positano to the accomodation, you get off at Piazza Capella and take a delightful walk to the accomodation. Next to the accomodation are about 1300 steps down to Positano, which takes about 25 minutes to walk down.
Our host Nuncia and her daughter met us on arrival to help with our luggage, and on departure also carry our heavy luggage up to the piazza at 6.30am. We are truly grateful. The room was clean and spacious with an adjacent bathroom.
Montepertuso is a lovely little village with some very nice restaurants nearby.

Fantastic in all aspects

I highly recommend this B&B. We had plenty to eat for breakfast with home made jams from the garden outside the room. Nunzia was very welcoming and helpful. I will be recommending this B&B to friends and family if they travel to this beautiful part of Italy.
