Giuseppe is a wonderful host.  He is warm and friendly and makes excellent suggestions for dining and sightseeing.  The accommodations are inviting and comfortable.  The location is close enough to be convenient, but remote enough to be serene.

Wonderful stay

Fiorello B&B is perfectly located, close to the port and away from the noise, easy to find, has parking. Pleasantly arranged, clean, large and comfortable room, with private bathroom. Access to laundry facilities. Best of all, Giuseppe Fiorello helped me plan and execute my trip to the Aeolian Islands. His suggestions were right on, itinerary, where to stay overnight, which islands to visit given how long I could stay. He was kind enough to drive me to the hydrofoil and pick me up when I got back. In addition, he is very knowledgeable about Milazzo, he gave me perfect directions to the Milazzo tourist sites and to the roads I needed to take upon my departure. Thank you, Giuseppe, for all your kindness.

A Really Good Choice in Milazzo

After an exhausting day of travel, we arrived at BnB Fiorelli and met our wonderful host-Giuseppe. As it has been said before-genuine Sicilian hospitality. He showed us to our wonderful, clean and spacious room with a private bath & shower and told us to relax and rest for a while and he would fix us some fresh fruits, snacks and beverages. After resting for a while, Giuseppe found out from us that we were researching geneology on my husbands side and that we knew his roots were from Spadafora, which is just a few km away. He then spent time with us trying to get more information from the families in Spadafora. Through his help, we think we have found a link to my husbands family and continue to research.  Giuseppe drove us to town that evening and told us where to eat and the sites to check out and told us where to meet him when we were finished and he would pick us up as we didn't have a rental car, and as an added treat he showed us some of the sites the locals frequented.  The next morning he drove us to the port so we could take the ferry to the Eolian islands for our next adventure. Giuseppe is certainly a wonderful, charming host who will have all your concerns in mind. We would definitely recommend a stay at BnB Fiorello in Milazzo, Sicily.

We had the pleasure to stay in this B&B while planning a trip to the Eolian islands, but finally decided to stay 3 nights as Milazzo reveals to have a lot of hidden charms. The B&B is simple, yet fully equipped and authentic. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Fiorello is also one of the few places we visited that can accommodate disabled persons (ramps, elevator). There is also place to park a car, which you may need as the center of Milazzo is 2,5 km away.

We also had the pleasure to be nicely hosted by Giuseppe, who is a true example of the Sicilian kindness and hospitality. Thanks to him, we have been able to book our trip to the islands. Giuseppe was kind enough to drive us to the boat in the morning and fetched us upon our return at 11pm. When we arrived at the B&B, Giuseppe had prepared a wonderful plate of fresh fruits which we really appreciated after this long trip. Charming and considerate ... that's Giuseppe in a nutshell.

Giuseppe is an excellent host: kind, attentive (but not intrusive), and helpful. We decided to rent a car after arriving in Sicily, and Giuseppe helped us arrange the car rental. He even transported us to the Avis office and acted as a translator for us. Giuseppe is a very gracious person with a good heart, and I cannot say enough good things about him! 

Regarding the accommodations, I can report that our room and bathroom were quite lovely and impeccably clean, as were the public areas of B&B Fiorello.

I've visited Sicily a few times but had never been in Milazzo. Many people use this town as a mere pitstop because of the oil refinery that blights the landscape on the city's east side. To all of you I say -- ignore the refinery. There's a beautiful tree-lined promenade on the west side of the bay. Walk north on it while admiring the castle, and you'll forget all about the industrial section of the city!

I highly recommend Giuseppe's B&B Fiorello to anyone traveling to Sicily. It's the perfect home for a night (or two or three) while you visit the islands, tour the Norman castle and rock church of St. Anthony of Padua, or hang out on the lovely beach on the northeast side of the peninsula. Whether you're entering Sicily by boat or train, Giuseppe's hospitality is a wonderful way to begin a trip to this gorgeously wild island.
